New Members Introduction / Hey everyone, Kalyna here !

Hey everyone.
I'm Kalyna. I used to play Titan Quest years ago, and I randomly decide to grab the Anniversary Edition during a recent discount to see how well it holds up. I only plan to revisit it for a quick nostalgia trip over the weekend, but I quickly get hooked all over again on the mastery combinations and the classic ARPG grind.
I'm currently running a Hunting and Nature build, mostly taking my time through the campaigns and testing out different skill synergies on my own. Managing attributes and finding optimal gear upgrades gets a bit tricky in the later acts, which naturally leads me to search for an active community to check out some build ideas.
I look forward to browsing through the discussions, asking a few questions when I get stuck on boss mechanics, and hanging out with other fans of the game. See you around the boards !

I wanted to reply to this message but then I had an emergency.
So.. RudeBoyRocket, I completely understand your frustration with Asgard. The difficulty spike in Act 5 Epic can be brutal if your gear isn't fully ready, especially when you play solo and try to clear fast.

To clear up your doubts about Normal mode, Hrunting is strictly tied to Epic loot tables. It physically cannot drop in Normal difficulty, even if you farm those Einherjers for weeks. Normal mode gear simply caps out way lower, so you won't find any Epic swords reaching that 140 damage range down there.

When I run into a wall like this on my solo characters, I usually prefer farming boss chests in earlier Epic acts rather than struggling through Act 5. And I'm also taking the opportunity to quickly place a small bet before getting back into it. Running Epic Typhon or Hades is much safer, and the secret passage in Act 4 drops amazing epic weapons surprisingly often without the constant deaths. Taking a step back to farm easier bosses in Epic usually gets you that upgrade much faster than forcing your way through Scandza. Hang in there.
