Nature AE / Re: Semi Pure Nature petmancer

Yes I thought exactly what you said at first.  But then I thought say (suppose) I need 500 int for caster staves and armor.  So what to do with spare points above 500?  Raising to 600 int would only help LMB mundane staff attacks.  If I go Soothsayer after normal I guess it could help ternion's damage which I could spread Shen Nong relic reduce resistance.  Or I could put it into health or energy.  Or I could put it into Dexterity for more DA and option to equip dexterity armor or stat stick spears like phorko's trident.

Nature AE / Semi Pure Nature petmancer

PS4 TQ AE with Atlantis

I'm working on a Nature petmancer and I intend to do up to Normal Act 5 as pure nature.  Then I might mix in another class if I end up taking the character further.

My first thought was to use intelligence based caster gear since I would use a staff that increases damage from pets.  But I won't need the intelligence to increase the damage from mundane LMB staff attacks.  So I am rethinking stats.  Maybe raise intelligence just to equip high tier staffs that boost pets.  The rest could go into Dexterity to equip dexterity armor or even Strength to equip strength armor and shields.  Stat stick spears or other weapons is also an option.  Or I could just raise health with spare points.

If I take another mastery for epic/legendary it's likely to be Spirit for Soothsayer.

Thanks

General Discussion / Re: "Master Mind" on Character?
« on: 26 February 2025, 04:08:20 »
So it sounds like Mastermind buffs the player (player A) and since that buff is on the player it applies to any pets that player A has.  Also if you are playing with a friend player B then player B's pets are also enhanced.  I had one final question.  Does my mastermind pet itself get enhanced since it's my pet?  I would guess yes.

General Discussion / Re: Help with PS4 version
« on: 16 February 2025, 21:44:08 »
I wasn't sure if I should post since it's been so long.  I am playing the PS4 version so am searching out common issues on PS4.

In case anyone also playing Nature mastery I've been able to put the regrowth skill on my UI.  First there's a menu (from same button you use to access gear/character) that assigns skills.  You can assign to skills to your weapon UI which is: triangle, square, and circle and if you swap weapons that's another 3 skills put in.  You also set UI for the arrow pad on the left (up, down, right, left) or the left trigger + arrow pad.  So you can assign 6 skills to 2 weapons and 8 skills to the various left direction pad.

So I put regrowth onto the up (without left trigger).  It takes practice to have the right touch.  I mean this game is a little clunky.  There's the same issue with heat shield for earth.  It takes a little practice.  You can also heal (or heat shield) pets but that's even harder.  You have to walk over to the pet usually out of combat so they are still and when they are auto-targeted (you see their name) then cast heal or heat shield.  This is totally unreliable in combat so you need to wait for the synergy of regrowth - dissemination.  Also sylvan nymph needs to have a monster target for some reason??  Wolves need no monster target to summon them.
