Dear nargil66:
Hope you are well,
I know this mod has not been updated for 7 years,
And every time I play titan quest I felt this is something that is lacking from beta (I played beta when the game was out and it has such effect and was way cooler)
Are you okay for me to look into this mod and trying to revive it and update further and publish it on steam?
Thank you :)
Sure, be my guest. Just mention me in the credits, that's all :)

Hi! I didn't want to intrude on anyone's natural progress of this mod, but I got it working.
Death Effects working correctly with the newest version of Titan Quest and all DLC, but not by hand... I used my AI.

It works, and I've even added pools of growing liquid (blood, ichor, etc.) under where ragdoll corpses land, and a native system corpse/pool cleanup.

I understand everyone has different opinions on AI usage. So I wanted to ask
Would it be okay to upload this mod? Or, if not, I'll create the rest on my own. :)

Regards,
Retch

No worries at atll!

Thanks, nargil66! I really appreciate the go-ahead and the work you put into bringing Death Effects to Anniversary Edition. The original effects gave fights a lot of character, and I wanted to keep that feel. You and i.n.s.a.n.e. are both credited in the readme.

Death Effects Revamped v1.0 supports Titan Quest Anniversary Edition 2.10.21415 on Windows (Steam build 19471007), including the base campaign, Immortal Throne, Ragnarök, Atlantis, and Eternal Embers.
- Restores the original death effects, including feathers and body-attached sprays
- Makes death spray particles 15% larger and matches their colors to the pools by creature type
- Adds one pool per eligible corpse that grows outward after the body lands
- Clears pools when the game removes the corpse
The pools require a one-time manual install of the files in GameFolder. The readme walks you through it.

ISSUES: Discoloration, blood pooling not showing on certain surfaces.

Hope you enjoy it! I’d love to hear what everyone thinks :)
