Thanx for the links!

I found the mod...its loot plus.

Golden boar sems to be better for me. And it has the same lootdrop table as fafnir.

We are farming boar and fafnir for swords for our conquerer and... :P :P :P

we just got this from the boar: https://tq-db.net/en/equipment/mj%C3%B6lnir

we took a look at the miserable loot we got earlier and guess what:
https://tq-db.net/en/equipment/blessing-of-the-moirae

this is a sign we will go rune next . and we were absolutely not interested in thrown weapons.

btw, still using the old epic sword... :o :o :o but it works surprisingly well.

Well, my first couple attempts at this were already horrible failures. I started two Wanderers (nature) and intended to level as that until I figured out what I wanted my 2nd mastery to be. First toon died almost immediately from me just being dumb. Whatever, no big loss. Second toon made it to the Gorgon sisters as a plague caster, but I didnít take into account that there would be 3x Euryales, so they just constantly heal and I couldnít do any damage to them. Ran out of potions, tried to portal out but died.

Oh well lesson learned. Now I decided to roll as a Skinchanger but I started as Rune instead of Nature. Much better results. The plan is to stick to a throw & shield elemental build. Might add pets later, not sure yet. Iíll report back when Iíve made some significant progress. For the leaderboard entry:

CaptainBourbon
Skinchanger (twinked)

You can easily kite euryales by hitting them and then running to the lower right part of the dungeon. After a few tries you can get one alone and then hit her ranged until she has no more mana to heal or just outright outdamage her. If you're interested I can maybe record a video how to do it

Welcome to the challenge.  What level is your character and where are the location wise in the game? Need those for the leaderboard.

Tauceti - Dyson - L56 Soothsayer AERA (TWINKED) - Helos

Pets did their job until end of Act 5 where they tend to become terrible, giants are hard hitters for pets even with good pet jewels.
Therefore Dyson had to respec somewhat towards a Ternion build.

@Twinscrew : as a wanderer, you can stay at the door (so that you can escape if things go wrong), and body pull with one of your pets in defensive mode.
As a result, 3 or 4 gorgons can be easily be put off in one try. Repeat and rinse.

Spoiler for Hiden:

I was in a hurry to cross by epic difficulty. I should have not !
The 3 Barmanus crashed my toon when i realised my beginner error: no stun resistance on Dyson. OUPS  ::)

Fortunately i didn't go that far on epic so that this one won't be on the graveyard, i have so many toons already there...

forgot the surtur.

We still go xmax zero death but we did any% legendary speedrun just to get to Golden Boar and we farm it like crazy xmax of course:

https://imgur.com/ghUxEzs

need equipment for other toons.

so i guess it stops here for Perseus:

Jacko&Zuzia - Perseus - L73 Conquerer AER+Atlantis (TWINKED) - Village of Helos

BTW, Im thinking of starting a thread on the challenge:

any% speedrun challenge

best time for completing normal, epic and legendary...subcategories zero death, tweaked etc...once it matures I will start the thread...maybe someone will join in

Well, up to you of course.  You'd need to lay down some rules on what counts and what doesn't.  Do you have to do quests or just run through the game as fast as you can for example? Most of the speed runs I've seen for Grim Dawn they just ignore everything they don't have to do to progress in the game.  Kinda boring to me.

Added to the leaderboard and good luck you two.

Had a look at the GD speedruns and see no one's bothered to run it for a year now so no one's done FG content.

Edit: My bad.  There have been a few.

Well....

Sauron has already diagnosed two major issues:

1. energy regen - mana pot every 5 seconds

2. archers - seem to be his Nemesis atm damn it  >:(

Still on the fence as to second mastery.

Maxed Ternion, Arcane Lore, Deathchill aura.
