I've noticed the same thing with loot.  It's the (IMO) stupid way that loot springs out of chests/enemies, up into the air and then falls down.  The items are not able to be grabbed until they come to rest on the ground.  Sometimes, the item(s) just won't sit still.  I've seen potions just jiggling around for up to 45s before they finally held still.

This does not happen with classic Titan Quest, which I also have installed on the same machine.

There is at least 1 thing not incorporated - the fix for the ruins wall before Sparta.

Weird I can't find this at all in the Fanpatch notes.  What's the issue again?

I'll do a side-by-side of the changelogs over the next few days and see if there any notable discrepancies/omissions.  I'm curious as hell.  If they really did integrate the fan patches/fixes whole cloth I'd be very impressed.

I'm curious, have any knowledgeable players out there compared the changelog from AE with the old Fanpatch (+Patchfix mod) to see what fixes made it in?

I've read through the full AE changelogs a couple time but it's been a while since I looked at the Fanpatch changelogs.  Did any fixes from the FanPatch NOT make it into TQ AE?

Guys.  The above-mentioned sets are intentional "duplicates".  The higher level versions are meant to serve as replacements for the much lower level versions.

They did a similar thing in Grim Dawn with the "empowered" versions of uniques.  Because many items had great modifiers, the only problem was that they were just too low level after a while.   Same with Adept's vs. Archmage's sets, etc. in Titan Quest.

Starting to notice a lot of these stars are poorly placed.  Embedded in the monsters' bodies instead of floating overhead.

Been taking lots of hero pics but turns out none are new in AE, except this one:



I also want to give a shoutout to Lysia Spellbreaker (Maenad hero), though she's not new, she gave my StoneSpeaker a run for his money.  Being stripped of all your buffs really turns the tables.  Didn't even get a chance to take a pic, since I came so close to death.   ;D

DeepBlue I only a read a few pages of this thread thoroughly and skimmed the rest, but have you tried a StoneSpeaker (Rune + Earth)?  Rune is a super powerful mastery IMO, I am absolutely slaying without much pre-planning, and Earth makes the perfect support mastery for it.

Starting strategies:
1) Aim to use the new throwing weapons.  I'm getting some unique and MI throwing knives quite often and they have great damage and speed.
2) Use a shield.  Points into Feather Rune to keep strength requirements low.
3) Attribute points mostly in Intelligence and Dexterity.
4) Buff yourself with Earth Enchantment, Ring of Flame, Heat Shield, and Rune of Life.
5) Rune Weapon on LMB, ThunderStrike on RMB.

Granted I'm only level 20 on my way to Memphis in Normal right now, but unless the game throws a severe curveball I see myself steamrolling for quite a while.

the 1st one looks like she is from the same planet as Terrax the Destroyer (Marvel) she is a female villain in the movie 300 and it's prequel-sequel
the 2nd looks like she can be a character in Thundercats.. that gem on her forehead gives her the power of magma
3rd i don't know why but i keep imagining she is a character from star wars.. that's a different version of lightsaber though
4th is a martian character from John Carter

I like your imagination.  These are the kinds of stories I'd make up for the characters as well, based on their looks/class/gear.

Instead of modifying game exe I could've modified FastSkill.exe, but the author has encrypted the strings in exe.
He could've easily made game caption configurable, but instead he released two exe for both game versions.  :-\

Yeah this is what I tried but could not edit the FastSkill exe.  I'm not comfortable messing with the game's executable.  Easier to just use QuickFire.

Oops in over my head on that one.  I was remembering a script using AutoHotkey but that's just a straight up exe that I can't decompile, and nothing in the cfg file that's useful.  Sorry for the hassle.  You might try QuickFire, it's functionally the same and easy to use once it's set up.
