Title: [MOD] Battle Nymphs

This small mod transforms the female character to a nymph. Features and info:
- Load the mod from custom game. It doesn't matter which character you choose, you will be redirected to the main game, where you can play normally.
- Added a summonable vendor, which sells nymph skins only. To summon it, go to Unlock Content and type code "nymph". An flower amulet will drop.
- No armor looks good on nymph mesh, so they are made invisible. You will see them equipped in inventory, but not on your character.
- The nymph uses human animation for the most part. Some of the staff animations are remade to fix some wonky looking stuff.
- Added a Database Addon Version. It doesn't block achievements and work with most Custom Game mods. How to use: After you download the archive, extract it and open "battle_nymphs'' folder. Inside you will see folder Creatures. Copy it to your "Titan Quest Anniversary Edition/Database" folder, and place it next to database.arz. This will change the female character to a nymph in the main game AND in mods. Enjoy ;)

Just main game for now. I can make an addon version as before for mods. Problem is some of the npcs in Ragnarok will look like nymphs...

Ok, you guys have point. I added a direct database version and updated the download link. Also fixed vendor in the Custom Maps version not showing on Epic and Legendary. Check the first post.

Is it possible to make her permanent. I won't mind replacing some .arc files in main game...  ;D

The 'nymph' code works only once is there way to summon the vendor multiple time? may be some default skill?

I would really love it, if you give the vendor some basic things like health and energy potions, etc.. So I won't have to go back to towns for small small things...

I will think on your ideas. For now you can make her permanent if you use the database addon version instead of the custom maps one. No vendor tho...
Btw, I wanted to ask you something unrelated... since you have some experience with the engine, is there any way to modify the size of inventory grids? I'm trying to make a huge vendor window, but the game refuse to accept the database change.

I'll find out why the size is fixed(may be hard coded). Give me your desired size of vendor window and inventory grids. Also if you give me your database changes, it will be easy for me to track down exact locations.

v0.2 Animation Update:

- Now usable with Immortal Throne (if Efko wants to try it)
- Fixed nymph mesh having different name for Bone_Neck.
- Female idle and run animations are better adapted to nymph mesh.
- Added new animations for bow, spear and dual wield.
- Changed foot angle on the running animations to make nymph's steps look lighter. Preview:

The difference is very slight, visible mainly when her foot is in most forward and most back position. But ingame it does give more "nymphish" feeling :)
I used onlne gif makers: Giphy and Ezgif.

I started next part of the animations. There will be a new pack soon.
I did a fix for my previous mesh fix :D. I renamed Bone_Neck, but forgot the links to it in the TextData section. Good thing is most of the last animations still work.

Addon Version update 0.3:

- Further fixed mesh
- Adapted more animations.
- To install, remove the previous addon version in Database folder and place this one instead. Do NOT overwrite.

Custom Maps version is not updated yet. Ima attach some armors on the nymph for next update as optional mesh choices.

i think it is possible , since minotaurs have humanoid shape, it could be worked on those 2x animations

It is possible, if you take or combine animations from another creature that is close in shape to minotaur (say tigerman), but have bow/staff animations. Animation Composer is an awesome tool and gives many new possibilities. For example, maenad's basic idle animation is a mix between human, maenad and crocman (for the tail angle :) ), for nymph's "lighter steps" are used feet from dunerider, etc.

Man, it took me all this time to get what was the problem with glitched textures when the mod jumps to the main game.
It's because the nymph and vanilla character mesh had the same name. It seems when making character replacement mods its best to change the name of base mesh and textures or to use a different folder for them. It's more work, but prevents any kind of glitches or conflicts with the main game.
The mod will be updated soon, when i finish relinking everything.

But his mod supports only the old Titan Quest to unfortunately but if you use the new Titan Quest it will cause a problem (the Custom Quest you loaded includes an invalid map file (likely a "Bounce Mod") The changes will instead affect your next game with a Main Quest character. If you are unsure about their compatibility, please use a new one.) and the texture will be dark on the nymph  :(

After a long delay and dozens of nymph reworks, i think it's finally time for an update. I present to you... Battle Nymphs 2!

This time all nymphs have unique look, both as model and as texture. Here is the current skin/model list (click on the image to see the full list):

Battle Nymphs Version 2 Addon Mod

This mod replaces the female character model with one of several types of nymphs.

How to install:
1. Remove previous addon mods if you have any.
2. Unpack the archive and put the folders from inside to your main game "Database" folder.
3. Go to "Creatures/PC/Female" folder. Choose a nymph mesh from the list (see Skinlist.jpg) and rename it to "femalepc01.msh.
4. Launch the game and choose female character.

Features and Info:
- Dyes will NOT work. No matter what dye you use, the character will preserve her default skin.
- Each nymph mesh is linked to only one skin. To change appearance, you have to use different mesh.
- All helmets are made invisible, but you can still equip them and get their bonuses.
- Rigid Bodies data is removed. This means the nymph will always use death animations.
- Added an optional menu. To disable it, rename or delete "Menu" folder.

Fixed 2 missing nymph names on the skinlist picture (Naiad1 and Oceanid3).
Right now the skins have no proper bump textures, coming for the next version + maybe some glows and effects.

@nargil66  Should they have their own aura effect?
Like Nereid has watering effect, Nymph has spring leaf effect (like Overgrowth skill of Nymph but looks bigger or covering more on character body, Maenad has "Rage" aura - dark red burn effect,...).
