just saw this and since i know some people here are also diablo fans, can anyone here talk about #4? (3:41)

i didn't know this so i just googled but couldn't find anything except some comments saying the same thing.. me with one look also knows the images are not from official diablo games
but wow that's embarrassing
as for me i think the graphic designers of diablo 3 are different because graphics in diablo 3 is cartoonish imo

about the reason 4, for what i read and rememnber they used actual mod made by players to show the inventory of the game when 1st came out, instead showing their own version.. its was kind lazy/ non care move.
But something tells me they will show some bigger news this year about more diablo games.
diablo 3 its cool, its more action rpg game, the story its meh and no1 cares , its all about rifts and racings against the clock, and mostly online sux to.
Hope they have learned the problems of the past.

I think reason 2 is the main problem, the original creators are gone, and with them is gone the old feeling of Diablo 2. The new game looks very polished, but somehow sterile...
The second main reason is greed... Making it an online game was a huge mistake.
I have it installed, but couldn't get hooked at all... Haven't played more than 50 hours in this game.

i do hope they turn out good but something tells me they're just using the name of diablo so they could get more sales.. lelz

yep thats im talking about, she is part of diablo current team , community manager if i recall.
idk, most of team that worked on D3 are gone , time will tell

but they should've known the mistakes in the images.. there were no crystal swords in diablo 1.. and the diablo 2 inventory were larger in that image.. they were obviously fan mods
or maybe they really don't know those were not official diablo game images ;D
maybe they really just googled diablo 1 and 2 images

Eh, I mostly liked Diablo 3 on the ps4 because it felt more like a Gauntlet game than anything (just with a loot system and advanced leveling) and with friends in couch co-op but I could only imagine the pain people went through when they played it on PC because of the online-only gameplay which is a horrible choice for anything really.
Pretty sad that they went the path they did with the shiny gameplay/design. Too much like WoW or something like that.

yeah too much like WoW.. but I'm not criticizing diablo 3.. I'm criticizing the new blizzard.. i would like it more if they don't use the name diablo anymore.. if the original devs won't work on it anymore, then it's better to just think of D1 and D2 as great games of the past
edit: diablo 3 is it's own game.. it shares the same name of the previous 2 games but it has nothing to do with the diablo franchise
