So, I was curious, what is the best attack replacement skill (aka, left clickability) for a throwing build character? Both in consideration of the rest of the abilities a master has and by itself.
Onslaught Chain
Calculated Strike Chain
Marksmanship Chain
Rune Weapon Chain
Psionic Chain
Does the Hunting Mastery just have it beat due to its specialization?

Onslaught trumps Psionic and Calculated Strike. If you want elemental damage then maybe use Rune Weapon. Not sure Marksmanship works with thrown weapons.
Main problem with thrown is that the range is less than you get with a bow or staff. So if you want to be able to attack out of foes' range don't go for thrown weapons.

Only Marksmanship's base skill works with thrown weapons AFAIK..
Some say that modifiers work too but I haven't tested it myself yet so I'm not sure about that..

Does onslaught really do a lot to benefit ranged attacks though. Two of it's passives seem most beneficit if you are in melee, rather then attacking from range, and the pass though ability of calculated strike seems Superior to increased projectile speed. With a good tank, I think calculated still might be the Superior option.

Marksmanship works with thrown weapons. I have beaten Normal with thrown weapons using Marksmanship; it works nicely.

Does volley pro with both weapons? I have a blue throwing weapons with volley that looks cool, but isn't as good as my throwing axe.
