Title: Show all damage mod
Post by: Glinta on 29 December 2017, 15:47:12
Hi

Does anyone know what to edit in Game.dll to get "show all damage" working?

I'm speaking of TQ:AE Ragnarok v1.51

SoulSeekkor's Defiler could do that, although I've been told that it doesn't work for AE. Maybe someone can update that particular mod in the program for AE

It used to be change 0F 8A 4F 02 00 00 to 90 90 90 90 90 90, but with ragnarok Game.dll has been changed and I've had no success to find the corresponding part now.

None of the defilers TQ or Grim has a working mod for this yet.

Yes it works with 1.51 Thanks

And in case it disappear from that forum the solution is

Search for '0F 86 6D 02 00 00'
Replace with '90 90 90 90 90 90'

Only problem is, the toon screams each time he gets hit, instead of only on critical hit.
Maybe disable the sound would work ?

Didn't even notice that, but I play with rather low sound, I guess you could change the pc(fe)malecrithit01-04.wav in Audio/PlayerSounds.arc

One thing however is that Damage reflect causes really messed up numbers, like 25 digits long ^^

So maybe this solution is best for testing skills/weapons and not so much for playing with. Better than nothing though.
