Apparently, it is possible in Soulvizier to upgrade unique items. I want to upgrade the epic Obsidian's Crescent axe my char uses.
For that, I bought an unique upgrade formula at the altar and with it made an unique upgrade gem. Afterwards, I don't know what to do. The description of the gem says "Buy an Upgrade Unlocker to consume Gem and benefit from the item Upgrader services. Find this Unlocker at Unique Altars in town, next to Enchanters."
I first thought I need a new recipe to upgrade my item but can't find any formula related. When I bought an Evanescent Powder, the gem is consumed and disappears but nothing happens nor any of my items gets modified. I must miss something. What should I do with my upgrade gem in order to upgrade my unique item ?

How should I use it to upgrade my item ?

When you buy the powder, the gem is consumed and you are granted access to the Upgrader (NPC with a purple hammer).
It works like the dvergr in the act 5 quest. You just have to talk to the Upgrader, put an item in the window and click Upgrade.
However, like written on the Powder description, you must speak to the Upgrader in the same session as the one in which the gem was consumed.
Otherwise the access is lost and a new gem has to be crafted/consumed to get access again to the upgrader.

Possibly you need to click twice on the Upgrader, the first time a dialog box appears, the second time the Upgrade window shows.
