I am playing on laptop and touchpad and the targeting of town portal and clicking shrine is extremely buggy ,i don't remember the game being this unplayable 4 years ago,i even installed old titan quest to see if it was my latop causing this, and the clicking on town portal work flawlessly.

Maybe you changed some settings on your laptop? Or a new touchpad driver.
My laptop works the same as it did years ago, but there is a difference in the sound. Above all, it seems to me that it is fundamentally cleaner and louder than the old TQs. I play with a mouse and not a touchpad.

i don't know it's a brand new laptop and it work fine when browsing or playing other game,i only have issue clicking shrine and portal the game think i am holding right click constantly when i just press it quickly to target portal.

what brand of laptop is this? Are there any effects set for space or echo or something similar

it is a acer nitro 5 and nothing has been set on those key or i think how can i check that.

Try changing the sound slider settings in TQ - the game itself under the options. Set Windows sound to deafult. If there are no changes, install TQ-IT again. Make a complete backup of the game before that.

I'm having the same issue on pc. It's hard to target the portal. It seems I have to click higher when it looks. Sometimes the sound of all effects (attacks, spells, low health,..) disapear aswell, maybe when tabbing out too much but I'm not sure.
