Title: No Stat assessment for buyable items on switch

I played the PC Version where it was possible top buy an Item, apply it, asses the stats and resell it again in case its weaker.
I didn't find a way to do so in Switch because you cannot apply items while the trading Windows is open.

Anyone know something about this? Why on Nintendo Switch version player can't buy, check and if not happy with item, why player can not sell it for the same price?
