This usually happens when you haven't applied the number of shader/texture to the model before exporting. Check Endymion's tutorial, it should be explained there.

OK, here is the latest progress - the nude pack is started. Transferring textures between models seems to work, but it turns out textures from most other games are too "plain" to fit Titan Quest. But anyway, the new female textures are still better than before... here is a preview (nudity warning, you have to confirm your age):

Ported textures or not, this should become the best nude skin pack i made so far... and i can always use these textures as a base for clothed skins too. Thanks Diego for your idea  :D

Also, what are the latest things - i watched some tutorials on how to bake textures in Blender from one mesh to another without changing the UV map. This means i can take any HD textures, say from DAZ female model, HD nude Lara Croft model or Cassandra from AC Odyssey, and wrap them on my Ariadne model. I'm starting these attempts tonight, and i hope for the future the base nude textures should improve greatly.
@Diego982 , i havent forgotten your request about the nude pack, and if everything goes right, it may turn out better than expected...  Wish me luck :)

If you mean where to link the animation, there is a SpecialAnimation field under the Skill Config section of your spear throwing skill.
You have to put a string there, signifying the animation (for example "SpearThrow") and then in the character animation table, under one of the SpecialAnm slots of Spear section put the link to the ACTUAL animation file + your custom string under it. Then give that skill to your character somehow (via mastery skill or item) and if you did everything right, the skill should trigger the animation.

Another great models. Especially the first one is amazing. She looks like Tyrande from Warcraft, only yours is way better. In fact, you could send it to Blizzard and let them add it to their games, because their version looks quite pathetic compared to your work.
Heh, thank you for the kind words. Warcraft models follow a certain style (more cartoonish) while my aim is for more realistic one. Otherwise i'm sure that Blizzard have pro modelers that can do way better than me. But still, this is a great compliment :)

What is planned for the next version - to make a mounted variant of the Oceanid (riding a reworked moon doe/stag), also to replace vanilla wolves with moon/spectral lynxes. I found some good models for that purpose on free sites:

I always imagined the nymphs of Artemis close to Samodivas/Samovilas/Yudas/Vilas (a type of fairies or nymphs in Bulgarian folklore that ride stags, dance by moonlight and use bows as a main weapon). This is a sketch of such creature that i made years ago:

I believe the myths about the Samodivi originate from much older myths from Ancient Thrace, which in turn are "borrowed" from Greek mythology. Myths never die really, they just transform in other myths. Here are some modern depictions of Samodivi/Vili:

I only wish i was good at weight painting so i can make a long transparent dress like this...

Edit - the base Lynx model is ported. I attach it below, if anyone needs for their mods (uses Saberlion animations). Now remains to make it more magical looking, and increase its size to be able to replace wolves without appearing tiny in game.

Thanks for not rushing me :) Munderbunny (the creator of Underlord mod) had a title "Delayomancer" on the old forum, now I know why, lol.

After a bit of delayomancing, the next Oceanid version is uploaded.

- Smoothed and tweaked some parts of the body and the UV map
- more randomized skins
- updated source files
- added new long hairstyle
- recolored short hairstyle #2

Hi nargil66  :)

I have to say something. About the AriadneHD, this is one of your best works to date in the female skin of the game.

I would like to ask you something. In 2020 you released an Ariadne mod called "Ariadne Skin Mod 1.3" which changed, using only the greek dyes the color of the nude model using white, tan, light blue, orange, black etc. One thing that I liked there was the possibility of having a different nude model for almost each dye color (if I remember correctly, if you use an orange color, the nude model would change to an african nude color, I hope that you understand what I'm telling you).

I was hoping if you could do a new version about that theme again with your more recent skin models.

Thank you for all your work on TQ and glad that you are still making this game even better than he already is.

Yes I remember the nude pack, and it is good idea to rework it. Actually it was planned for a long time for the newer versions, i just keep delaying it... Give me some time to release the next nymph model, and i'll see what i can do about that.

The next version of nymph is almost ready. I remade her ears completely, also there are tweaks on eyes, face, breasts and calves - generally smoothing of some hard edges. The new hair is also added. Expect her a bit later.

Today i finally figured out how to animate long hair without the need for the character's ponytail. Thanks to Amaryllis for the low poly hair helper that she made (used as source for skin wrapping in 3ds max). Here is an upcoming hair for the next Oceanid version:



Edit - I attach the hair helper below, so it doesn't get lost (usable for modders only). If you ever want to port long hair to the game, skinwrap from this model.

A new Oceanid PC mod is uploaded to Nexus & Mega.

~ Oceanid PC Addon Mod v1.0 ~


This mod turns the female character into a sexy Oceanid Nymph from Artemis' retinue.

Installation
- Remove previous addon mods (if you have any)
- Place the folders inside your main game "Database" folder
- To install a hair replacement: go to "Items/EquipmentHelm" folder. Inside you will see a folder containing hair meshes named "FemalePC01HairHelmet_*HairName*.MSH". To replace the default character hair with one of them, copy it to main "equipmenthelm" folder and rename it to just "FemalePC01HairHelmet.MSH".

Features and info
- New customly made Nymph model with improved face, body, HD hands and feet
- Reworked UV map, so the new model is compatible with vanilla female textures (except for the teeth, which have to be added in the lower left corner to any normal texture)
- All 16 vanilla Greek dyes are now nymph skins (6 nude and 10 lingerie)
- Added are 5 nymph hairs
- Added are 3 mesh variants - NoHelmet, NoArmors and Default:
"FemalePC01_Default.MSH" - this is the main Nymph model used by default in the mod. To use this mesh, copy it and rename it to "FemalePC01.MSH".
"FemalePC01_NoHelmet.MSH" - this mesh makes your equipped headgear invisible, and instead always displays the default character hair. To use this mesh, copy it and rename it to "FemalePC01.MSH".
"FemalePC01_NoArmors.MSH - this mesh makes ALL equipped armors invisible, but shows hair + attached quiver. To use this mesh, copy it and rename it to "FemalePC01.MSH".
- Compatible with Soulvizier mod
