Installation and Tools / Re: TQVault - AE and Ragnarok support

Works fine for me.  Are you using Steam?  Mine game's on GOG.

Bingo. TQAE does not have any support for Steam, therefore, it does not work.

See new link above.

*sigh* Medea, I'm sorry, but again, this is the exact same latest version I used. I immediately downloaded it, I know, how to operate on GH. It just doesn't work.

Use this.

https://github.com/EtienneLamoureux/TQVaultAE

Works fine.

I used exactly this. It does not work. It can't recognize any of the Custom Maps installed in the Workshop, and it can't see any of my custom game characters.

Have you tried TQVaultXL? It works with mods for me.

Yes, I switched off to XL already. It does it's job. Wish it had more item editing options, though.

So I recently came back to TQ and... yes, this thing STILL doesn't work with any Custom Map or character.

Writing something in the .ini does nothing. I tried the workshop folder number, I tried the specific mod name, I tried transferring the mod to CustomMaps folder in My games. It does absolutely nothing. Moreover, if ANY changes take place, it completely breaks the stash of the main character.

GG, guys.

Merry Christmas to those, who celebrate it!

As for us, Russians, we will do it a little bit later.

I'm pretty sure this area was there even in vanilla. Just like the small space in the fields before Hades' palace. They are indeed unreacheable. Maybe Nordic will do something about them.

This is cool as fuck, thanks for sharing.

Not really weird, since it's a basic motor memory. Hands act automatic on reflex, when you are gaming, because they remember their right positions, whilst when you are typing, it's more of a eye memory.

Dude, Ragnarok OST is soooo dope. Jesus, Im actually wanting an OST release so I can keep replaying it while I play. Especially the Ner cultist bosses encounter music!!! So addictive!

You might want to check the General Discussion subforum then, if you haven't yet.

You said it. All the things that create the unique feeling of TQ.
My favorite moment - just after the battle of Athens, to hear Brasidas' story of the siege, and when entering the city, to be greeted by the epic music... really brings up that heroic feeling.

Nope, YOU said it. This is exactly what GD lacks. It feels bland in comparison to TQ's moments.

After playing through expansion... my God, the green forests are amazing. I just wanted to stop and calm down for a bit, just listening to music.

What I don't like is that there are no gore effects, even as a toggle option.

This. When I hit the enemy with my axe, I want him to be cleaved in two, falling in slow motion, while blood splatters all over the place.

Atmosphere. Very comfy and immersive.
Environments. Especially real-life places, like the Wall. Those are the greatest.
Music.

Water girls. Goddamn, they are annoying as fuck. Hard to kill, always kiting everywhere and spamming projectiles.
Nerta Shamans. Summon insects to annoy you. Summon flowers to bind you. Nothing helps against this shit, you are literally stuck to one place.
Alfheim elves with their Aktaios sun rays crap.
And of course, Black Elves. The damage is just through the roof.

I don't think it's a fad.

Rune was Norse mythology even in it's fist installment, so naturally, it will continue the theme. Ragnarok is an important, massive event, so including it in the game would have been an obvious move.
TQ already explored Greece, Egypt and Eastern mythologies. Norse, again, is an obvious choice, with Ragnarok being the biggest catastrophe event in their myths. Since TQ is built upon disasters, which out hero is trying to prevent, naturally Ragnarok will be included.

I don't care about Thor, though. Don't watch capeshit.
