Those effects are bound to mesh files. What you want to do can be acheived, and I'll show you how I've been thought to do it. You will need two tools :
Mesh View Tool : https://www.kirmiziperfect.com/titan-quest-immortal-throne-mesh-view-tool/ ARC Encryptor : https://titanquestfans.net/index.php?topic=320.0 First, extract the mesh of your choice to open it with the Mesh View Tool. Click on '0 Meshes' then press Load Mesh. When it's loaded, look for a field called 'Textdata'. It contains references for attach points but also for special effects. The latter is usually at the end. It looks like this : Code: [Select] CreateEntity 'entity' refers to a dbr that is used as special effect. 'attach' refers to a set of coordinates that has been defined above with an ID. For example, in my Textdata, the Anchor3 looks like this : Code: [Select] AttachPoint Modify those parameters at will, then press on the tab just under your mesh count (should be '1 Mesh') and click on save to save your new mesh. Now that this is done, open ARC Encryptor. It allows you to create arc files for the game to use. Create a folder where to put your meshes (make sure it only contains those), and select it in the field 'Folder to pack from'. Enter the name you wish to give to your arc file,; for sake of simplicity, let's call it 'meshes'. 'Folder to pack to' is to wich location you want your arc file to be deposited. I leave it somewhere safe in case I need a backup (you might want to do just the same, you'll see why.) When all is set, press 'Encrypt'. For the next step, you will need to slide in your meshes.arc here : C:\Users\xxxxxx\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\custommaps\nameOfYourMod-probablyHamunaptra\resources Leave your meshes.arc here, and open your ArtManager. Look for the weapon you want to modify, go in its Actor Variables tab, and replace its mesh with yours. Now, whenever you build for the first time in your current session of the ArtManager, it WILL delete unassociated ressources (including meshes.arc), and unlike other dbrs, you will not be prompted to refuse. To work around that, slide meshes.arc on your desktop, build your mod, then put it back where it used to be. And that should make it work. 288
Anniversary Edition - General discussion / Re: need help with my harbinger« on: 27 December 2018, 14:57:35 »
I don't want to deny what you said but I do have some questions : how high was your regeneration and how high was your DPS? I had made a couple tests and tried to get the most regeneration possible. The character could indeed take hits for eternity but its damage was subpar, its resistances low and the health pool rather limited. Now, you might have gone less crazy on the regeneration than I did, wich should technically means you have higher DPS, resistances and health. Despite that, the Harbinger remains a very fragile character and whether you have crazy high regeneration or not, your resistances and health are more important since they can block bursts of damage, wich the regeneration can't prevent. For that reason, a regeneration-focused build is a gimmicky pick, fun to play for sure, but certainly not contender for the best class in the whole game. But maybe I'm entirely wrong, uh. I'd be curious to see how your setup was like. 289
New Projects / Re: [WIP] Shadow Champions (Mastery Mod) - WNG« on: 27 December 2018, 04:46:33 »
Been working a lot on the secondary features of the mod recently.
Included new artifacts to the lootables, both for the early and late game, wich will later be used as regeants. Added new animal relics, such as Behemoth Jawbones, Bear Claws and Human Blood. Introduced a bunch of new affixes, and some of them also include unique and fun skills. You could say that those three changes will make farming more tedious, and to you I answer : Spoiler for Hiden: Will soon resume the making of Lifegiving. 290

I mean, I'm really not a fan of throwing weapons, mainly because I'm just too used to the bow. But I can picture why someone would like to play them.
Now as a favorite weapon type? No, I can't picture why. 294

General Discussion / Results of my TQ Survey« on: 21 December 2018, 00:58:56 »
Hello there.
A while ago I had made a survey about how people were playing TQ. Though it was originally intended to learn about the players, find patterns to ultimately guide me in during the design of my new masteries, I felt like maybe some of you would be curious to learn what were the results like. So here they are! *All questions have been answered by 45 people. Special thanks if you are one of those. Question 1: Wich of those points describe you best? 1. I like characters that deal a lot of damage, whether is it to a single target or large groups. (11/45) 2. I like characters that hold their ground with ease and are tough to kill. (8/45) 3. I like characters that are well-rounded, wich means they have an equally good offense and defense. (20/45) 4. I like any type of character. (6/45) Question 2: How do you prefer to play a character in general? 1. With very few active skills. (11/45) 2. With few active skills (8/45) 3. With some active skills. (15/45) 4. With many active skills. (5/45) 5. With lots active skills. (6/45) Question 3: Wich of those do you prefer in a mastery? *Multiple answers can be chosen 1. AoE skills (24/45) 2. LMB skills (26/45) 3. Single-target skills (8/45) 4. Mobility skills (9/45) 5. Self-buff skills (15/45) 6. Aura skills (16/45) 7. Pet skills (9/45) 8. Passives skills (33/45) 9. Strong skills with long cooldowns (4/45) 10. Debuff skills (9/45) Question 4: How do you like pets? 1. Not at all. (7/45) 2. Just a bit. (10/45) 3. Moderately. (9/45) 4. I enjoy their company. (10/45) 5. Absolutely love pets! (9/45) Question 5: Do you prefer single pets or an army of pets? 1. Army of pets (24/45) 2. Single pets (21/45) Question 6: What is your favorite weapon type? 1. Swords (12/45) 2. Axes (3/45) 3. Clubs (3/45) 4. Staves (7/45) 5. Throwing Weapons (1/45) 6. Spears (7/45) 7. Bows (8/45) 8. Dual-wielding (4/45) 298

If I can make a few recommendations :
Gear-wise: Weapons are ok, armor seems alright except the greaves, wich you should change at once. Doesn't look like giving any wild bonuses that you couldn't get from other greaves. Torso armor has low armor but it has its uses with the nice resistances. Another artifact might be in order too, depending on what you can afford. Skill-wise: Move from Trance of Wrath to Trance of Convalescence, as you've been suggested earlier : your health pool is a bit low and this might help your survivability. Put at least one point in Distortion Field. Ancestral Warriors could be fine meat-shields. I would cut the points from the Battle Rage tree. Others: Up your Vitality Resistance, as it's one of the most important in Act 4. 299

Exinite has made some progress. She's able to wear beautiful gear with minimal strength thanks to a lot of bonus attributes and requirement reductions.
