do you get the feeling that plague spreads more quickly now compared to TQIT? i noticed that on my illusionist.. or maybe it's just the faster game speed?

Probably the faster game speed, im playing it on fastest speed now, its awesome.

Doing great so far, its actually kinda easy except for a few cases where many heroes appear. I got some interesting fights in the coming videos..

Im using achilles mod on act 5 and it works fine. i also used xmax in Ae:r act 1 and it was working ok.

Another run with my guardian. Act 5 drops some really interesting items :o

I know that my guardian could use some more dps. But i did the run without heart of oak, just because i can. This is recorded in achilles mod. I really like act 5, i have more videos coming, but my upload speed is too low, so its taking awhile to upload them all. I hope there are good act 5 items that my guardian could use to boost some resistances and damage.

I noticed that bosses and even elites have higher resistances now, also its harder to leech life from them. I  can still easily kill mobs with my diviner, but killing bosses has become a bit harder. But with the use of the 3 pets and the circle of power or whatever its called, its still easy to defeat any boss. The outsider deals huge damage. I still think strength gear is the way to go with ternion user, becuase you need to be at close range for it to work.

Well if you go for elemental damage INT will help. Strength should be used only for gear requirements especially in characters that do not rely on strength for damage.

@botebote77  yea man, but problem is that the basic game although harder than tq it is still too easy for me. i want achilles and massbosses mods but with bleed and vitality resistance tempered with im having a hard time adjusting because i dont want to lose damage. I have a modded db.arz but it is an old version and wont work with ragnarok. sadly i dont know anything about mods so i cant work on it.  On the bright side i started playing achilles with my guardian today, its going really well.. no edited db or anything too, just playing the stock ae : r game in achilles. will post vids later

I think that TQ:AE:R is disappointing in some aspects. What saddens me the most is that many if not all of my old builds are much weaker now. That doesnt mean that they are still not able to finish the game, but its just not the same. Those were toons that i spent many days farming and planning the end game build. But what i have now are toons that are incomplete because of the new mechanics. The first and most obvious flaw is the change on bleed and vitality resistance, need to plan for new items and sacrifice damage or other defenses in order to get those 2 resistances. Also i noticed differences on how DA works, im not entirely sure what was changed, but its different.

The cap on the other immortalities is not entirely a bad thing, such as 100% ctap, but i would still want to have the option to use it if i wanted to.

What i noticed on shield characters is that although i achieved 100% block with 100% shield recovery time, i still receive attacks mostly from melee enemies, not so much from ranged. I dont have enough information about these things so i cannot plan for better builds, not until i understand how the new mechanics work.

What i do like about the updates, is that we have a new act and a few new items, that's about it though. I would honestly prefer the old titan quest with the addition of the new act and the new items. I've been back to the game for awhile now but haven't managed to progress much on any character so far. Because every time i progress a bit, i encounter a road block just like you said. The only toon that i can still progress with is my normal runesmith, but i dont like that rune mastery that much, its boring.

Mine is a melee ternion user. absolutely destroys anything with a few hits. Tried him out in ae and damage still seems good. not sure what has changed in spirit skills now. but im using a harrowing staff and strength gear

With a few pieces of soldier's skulcap that i had '(i happened to have a few of them because apparently i stopped at the caves where those things drop) my resistances got a bit more balanced. Decided to use a purifying soldiers helmet of immortality and combine it with the mantle of sa-jun. Currently looking at around 50+ for each of the resistances. Did not want to swap out trackers hood because of the massive -recharge, but oh well! Until i find a modified database i ll keep this gear.

Disruption should be whatever is provided by defense skill, like 60%. I tried changed some items, got a bit more resistance, but the damage of some bosses is ridiculous (specifically hades in normal, he can still almost 1 shot me).
