How to change your save game folder?

Hi people, I have this little problem. I play the GOG version more than Steam, and everything is saved on C drive. Is there any way to setup my save directory for Titan Quest on different drive, so it donesn't get wiped out on reinstall?

So you want to know how to save your characters, right?Well Im not using the GOG verison,so I may be wrong.Try to create a new/separate folder, then put all your character folders in it.You can put this new folder on your desktop until the reinstallation its done.Remeber to copy the SaveData folder, not each character separatley.Once its done reinstalling, drag the the folder back where it belongs.Either do this or copy the folder on a USB stick.

Is this with cloud saving or local saves?  If local, then they're stored in My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest Immortal Throne\SaveData and won't disappear unless you delete that folder too.  It's pretty easy to make a backup of it as well - just put it on an external drive of some kind.  I use a UBS key for mine.  Both Steam and GOG access the same local saves so even if you uninstall Steam the file will still be there.  The only way to delete it is if the uninstallation asks if you want to delete that folder or if you do it manually.

I dont care much about my characters, more of my mod sources and build folders... it would be easier if TQ:AE had the save setup of Grim Dawn. Everything is saved where the game is installed.

Medea Fleecestealer:
??? Not for local saves, it's all in the same folder.  Both Steam and GOG access the folder in My Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn.  Same as for TQIT.
