Throw weapons??

Does Rogue flurry of knives work with throw weapons?

mammoth_hunter:
Its not a weapon based skill, formally it is a spell. That creates knives with piercing and bleeding damage. These knives do not act quite like normal spells though, they convey flat damage and effects from equipment, as if they were indeed weapon attack. Like chance of flat physical from rage of Ares relic or burning from earth enchantment. And poison from envenom weapon. Envenom weapon was one of the main reasons people were using it at all, because their own damage is low and too low for legendary. Most of the time its just to spread slow and confusion, a crowd control skill. It can be built around with some good items.

oldage good sir.. i also read your comment on the other thread.. i see you are a bit confused about throwing knife and throwing weapons.. as mammoth said, throwing weapons are actual weapons which you have used already.. throwing knife is a spell BUT they are considered actual weapons in that they carry flat damage bonuses from gear like Eitr or Archimedes Cogwheel for example (but not from weapons) and skills (like storm nimbus or battle standard).. they scale with cast speed instead of attack speed.. at max skill level +4 skill from items, they get no cooldown which means you can spam them.. it is a mana hungry spell but it carries mana steal and life steal if you have some

perhaps my rogue guide can help (just scroll down to throwing knife)

In Bumbleguppy's mod it does ;)

Thank you gentlemen, Years ago I played a Sorcerer with flurry of knives. I realize the new throw knives are weapon. Was just a thought as to how to get a lot of throwing knives. When I get home next week will play around with Rune. Came back to TQA after getting burn out playing Grim Dawn. Also playing Eastern Sun Rises and a little Dark Alliance. Will try again if and when Kingpin gets some of the bugs worked out.
Is Deaf Boy still around?
