Title: IMPORTANT: Posting screenshots

Since the forum is becoming more popular we're get close to using up all our monthly allowance of bandwith and disc space which will lead to extra costs.  To help prevent that could I ask that all members use a third party photo storage like Imgur or PhotoBucket and then copy/paste screenshots.   Please DO NOT USE the attachment option.

Imgur is easy to use, once you set up your account you simply upload your screenshots from your PC.  Choose Images and then select the 800x600 option under Autosize.  Click on Add Images and then source your screenshot/s for uploading.

Select your image by clicking on it and then copy the BBC Messages Boards and Forums link to paste it here.

Since my first activities on forums, PhotoBucket did the most damage on forums than any other thing, so you can use it only if you are willing to pay for their services so my advice is to avoid it. About 2-3 years ago PhotoBucked blocked all images for all their users so only who paid for their services was not touched and for everyone else, each image was replaced with their default advertising

Can't confirm but it seems registration is not required for now to upload.
Keep in mind that there is no safe place on the internet where you can keep your pictures, safest place should be forum but that becomes expensive with time.

:) efko I've had a photobucket account for 12 years and never paid a dime.

Medea', I don't see any option in photobucket that says "BBC Code". The only options are:

"Email & IM"
"Direct"
"HTML"
"HTML thumb"
"IMG"
"IMG thumb"

Are any of these the same as BBC Code? If not, I have no problem just posting links. The only screens I've been posting were in the new Bosses anyway.

Sorry Maniakles, I have no idea.  I know nothing about Photo Bucket except that it exists.
