Title: army mod ae/ragnarok/atlantis (mercenary mod) WIP

this is a redefined mod from my previous mercenary mod, allows you to hire soldiers from towns that you visit, each town adds 1 or two soldiers as pets to your ranks until you have an army to help you conquer your quests. still in progress but here is a sample pic

ow i forgot, put this in your my documents~ just like any mods you do for custommaps, load it in customquest... ... enjoy

Always use Preview button before posting so you can see what you did in post, or in another case it is about 0,0001% chance that post can fail and if its supposed to be a long post you can lose a lot of time in 1 second, so Preview is some kind of safe mode for posts. From my experience there is nothing more de-motivational than working on something, having long text with explanations, and boom its gone..

We are using only external images because of memory limits, so far only avatars can be uploaded, which will probably change in future to no uploads.

im having trouble on posting pictures... how do you post it anyway? i mean a link is good... but i see people tend to post pictures with ease... its been 3 years away from the city... so i seem to forget a lot on how the forum works nowadays... thanks for the reminder btw

finally... there we have it... thats melia, my mercenary... just did a mesh with the caravan to make it a little close to reality, not comfortable in placing all my loot in a naked horse... I am planning to create a camp with mesh and all to spend the night when its dark... cant play during night time... the ground turns white... they say it came with the update... so camping i will go

p.s. my appreciation to efko for the tutorial on how to post a pic...  I need a lot of reviews to catch up... wonder what else is new in the internet today?

A small tip when exporting meshes from Max - apply an Edit Normals modifier and on the active modifier under "Average" check "Use Threshold", then set it to 0.001.
Also, make sure that Edit Normals is on the top of modifier hierarchy, just before you export. Otherwise the model will turn "edgy" like your horse above.

thanks for the tip... still trying to blend with the tool... I am used to milkshape3d1.8.4, tools there are simple and basically elementary... max has way more tools to study... ill get by... just need more time though... for now still am trying to understand uv mapping for the texture

There is a russian mod with a similar idea, called Batallion of Flames. You mignt want to check it out, can give you some ideas:

i tried to test it... but it appears this mod  isnt compatible with the latest patch and expansions... my character wont move. where can i find the changelog for this mod as so i can lurk with its files using arzexplorer... whos the author for permission?

Hi Nargill, taking a break from Kingdom of Amulur.
Getting ready to start  TQ Anniversary for final round. Everything was a mess so starting all over from scratch for my last harrah . Deleted everything and download  everything new. Deleted the vaults, so truly is new. The  question is, is any of your mods complete to use? If not does the redhead elves you made still work or did you update?
Like the half elves you made along time ago. I'm using Vault 3.4.
