Hey All, I’m lvl 50 on Epic difficulty, in Babylon, and I’ve yet to find a single legendary item. I’ve farmed all possible bosses, open every chest and bone pile...nothing. Is this normal? I’m plyaing Titan Quest Anniversary Edition without the Ragnarok DLC.

yes it its normal, all drops are random, our you get loot of luck our get loot of nothing , no worries :)

Thanks for the reply. I’ve farmed some bosses upwards of 50 times and haven’t gotten a single one. I’ll keep trying.

When you will reach Legendary, you will find Legendary items much more frequently too.

not really worth farming epic unless if you have a specific target item in mind.. like Lykaion Malleus or a simple demons blood.. if you just want a legendary, may i ask if you have the overlord? but even if you have it, SP epic is not worth too much time unless you enjoy the challenge.. if you just want a good item, and since it seems you don't mind farming 50x, may i suggest stonebinder's cuffs? +2 to all skills bracers in epic

not really worth farming epic...
I disagree, imo there's plenty of great early legendaries and higher tier blues to find :) and it's worth doing a bit of farming here since you can often find some gear/weapons that'll carry you through the later acts before legendary quite comfortably.
Regarding OP, I'd say that's a bit rough going and not the usual norm for getting drops. But in when this happens, refresh the seed! Exit to the desktop and reload the game ;D

are the loot tables from https://www.tq-db.net/ accurate for AE and/or ragnarok?
athena's battlegreaves, for example, supposedly have the most chance of dropping on epic:

it is.. iirc i got one in act 4 epic.. most of the drops in epic though are just blues.. so if you want to farm for legendaries in epic, i suggest you have a specific target item in mind

@Prosoro i think i remember @Malgardian say before that RNG fix has been applied by the devs in AE.. so RNG should reset every x amount of times.. although i can't say this for sure I'm just going by his word

The old RNGfix has since been incorporated into the AE version, so the RNG should be fine.

No, the fix from TQDefiler I assume. There was one in that iirc. Might be the bugfix patch though.

in any case, could that mean RNG now resets every x amount of times? and how many times i wonder... 1x? 5x? 10x? 20x?

For Ragnarok. You can find Ragnarok items in it which has a label "R". It is not accurate, but it's the closest reference we have after devs improved (does not neccesarily mean increased) the drop rate across the game. The major problem for this database is known to the creator of the database website, which is he forgot to calculate the quantity of items dropped. That is the reason why you always find monster heros have higher drop rates than bosses.
Another minor problem is that devs changed stats of several items, especially MIs, after the latest update of database website. I don't have a list of them since devs didn't provide a detailed changelog anyway.
