Egypt update

Manticore - the only monster I actually respected and changed eq to max my poison resistance and it still was very dangerous when 2 of them hit me at same time :D

Giza Statues - unexpectedly almost died (maybe I exaggerate cause I "almost die" when my hp goes to about 2000 :D) due to reflected damage

Telkine

Sandwraith Lord

My items still haven't been changed, I found only 2 legends and both useless - a weak shield and another thrown weapon. I feel like 90% of my epic+ items are thrown weapons. Since they added them they drop everywhere and I can't see anything else.

Well, the lame-challenge-endings are on me for some reason. A Dragonian Wyrm-Mage popped its reflection shield, but unlike others, this one one-shotted me. I am so pissed -.-'

Orient update
This one was painful. Entering the third act without any good items was risky but didn't have any choice. Neanderthals and their nets were a huge pain so I had to lure them and kill slowly as I didn't have enough damage nor survivability to take bigger groups on. I shamefully :D was forced to avoid fighting Barmanu and Dragon Liche untill the end of the act, even Typhon was very demanding and I had to farm the Telkins a lot. In the end the fight against 3 typhons took a lot of time, scrolls and potions and I found out that the Rune mastery is not my favourite one :D

I spent most of the act using Hector's Spear (found even 2) but I have exchanged it for Enkidu's Stand before Dragon Liche. I have got Chiron's Loop from a side quest and one of the Telkins dropped me an end game item - Athena's Battle Greaves. There were more legends but sold almost all :D Also used some yellow items with relics/charms against Barmanu/Dragon Liche/Typhon to cover resistances and get more health. I would like to go and farm the Secret Passage but I am afraid it can end up pretty bad.

Leeroy Jenkins - Twinked L76 Spellbreaker - Babylon outskirts

I spent a lot, a lot ?,  a lot ! of time in act II, trying to find a good all-around setup with 80% recharge gear and without big holes in resistances. Finally i found one and it really changed the spellbreaker life  ;)

a lot of time indeed.. and it shows on your elapsed time  ;D oh well as long as you complete it..
those are really nice items with brisingamen (i don't even have this) and gauntlets of the necrolord.. between talisman of the jade emperor, tracker's hood and tyrfing (that's tyrfing right?), is that a permanent battle standard + unearthly power build?
i are TQ titans
i are many people

Actually the setup on counters pic isn't exactly the one i am using now on regular monsters. I 've used the talisman jade emperor only to fullfill the 80% elemental res for the Chimera encounter.

What i 've learned with Xmax is that it's much more easier to play with 4 artefacts rather than Talisman of the Jade Emperor (or anything else)
- Silver heart for undead/demons
- Sigil of the bast for beasts/beastmen
- Golden belt for giants
- Eye of ra for insectoids

Note that it isn't necessary to change the artefact each time !  But acts and some particular areas are mainly populated by a kind of monster, like demons in act 4.
It's just a personal preference though, i don't say it's the way to go...

Therefore building a gear setup with 80% recharge gear, +4 to all skills, and without the talisman jade emperor is like trying to square the circle  >:D But it's possible.
So yes it's a perma battle standard + dark covenant and no it's Gram rather than Tyrfing in the pic. Sure, Tyrfing is the best in slot but i don't have it.
