Icon Maker Contest

Icons are something special, every forum that has icons has additional way to reward its users and visual effect makes forum to be unique. Idea is to reward forum users and especially participants with icons for their achievements.

Icon/award must have next parts:
- must to be posted in 2 different sizes: 340x340 px and 34x34 px. >>> size is not final, we will have to test for more details
- borders
- can have transparent and visible part, but also there is no need for transparency, so that is your choice
- even if transparent, icon must to have some picture which cover more than 60% of its size, so more than 60% must to be covered otherwise we won't be able to see what is on icon in small size
- borders must not be transparent
- avoid using pictures with high turbidity. This means it is better to find better quality picture/s for icon
- usage of finished icon from the internet and proclaiming as your work is forbidden, do some work around it
- you are allowed to use any picture which you find on the internet related with given theme, but we recommend you to do some changes before using. That means you can combine pictures, you can use backgrounds, renders or just single picture

Notes, questions and answers (F.A.Q.):
*When working always create your icon in bigger size because you can easily resize it to required size, so it is optionally in which size you will create it [depends on your monitor screen]. For us are important only 2 required dimensions.
* Why in 2 different sizes? - Purpose of bigger icons is to be shown to everyone's eye, so it can help a lot when voting since small icon is usually not visible. Big icons can also fit nicely into your gallery. Small icons may be used as awards later. When we upload icons as awards, we will always upload big icon and small icon, so on click on icon you will see how it actually looks like and there will be included a list of owners of each icon. Optionally you can post bigger icons on forum with nice quality.
* Transparent borders on icon will have an influence on reducing visible parts of small icon and that must not happen.
* Keep background or renders in your PC, so on our request you are obligated to provide resources.

Avatar Design Contest

One of the most important things on forum is avatar. Why is that? - Because that is your identity, easiest way to remember someone is his avatar and can tell us more about that person. If case if someone is not sure what avatar is go to your
Profile -> Forum Profile -> Choose avatar from gallery

Max size of avatar box is set to 150x150 px, so idea is to work for example in size 600x600 px or 900x900 px and then to resize to see quality of our work and to submit for contest.

Avatar must have next parts:
1. custom background
2. render or letter
3. borders/no-borders - depends what we request per game
4. some avatars can have transparent background, or at least some parts transparent, especially care related with c4d
5. forum or your initials - depends if we request that

Most of avatars are without letters, and avatar can be actually a modified letter with some cool effects.
About transparent background , well avatar can be combination of c4d (google for c4d) and random render which basically means that there is no background at all, but combination of 2 renders.
Why letters? Because cools works can be made with simple 1-2 letters or more and there is sometimes better not to be background at all. Background can be transparent so avatar can look smaller, this should not surprise you, but be careful about actual size because we will demand exact size of entire picture to be as in the rules.

Could it be that this patch is somehow designed for Ragnarok (which is already available for me in PS Store) and buyig it would fix it? Or should we wait until someone will acknowledge this and patch the patch?

If you already paid for something, its not logical to get forced to pay again or to not be able to use paid product. About paying for more is another story. They will probably fix it shortly.

Color Manipulation Contest

This is the simplest editing of given picture, but unlike PCC where we have soft editing, here we can use strong effects + we can use borders so this can be considered as hard editing of of colors for given picture.. As the name of this game can tell us, point of this contest is to change colors and there is unlimited ways to do that, but with stronger effects.
That includes effects/tools like: blur, dodge, burn, sponge, color replace tool, paint bucket tool, gradients (if gradients behavior is not like an object on original picture), most of adjustments and filters from your editor. So you can give some light on your picture, or you can make it to be darker, you can completely change the colors, or you might use some exact color to make your entire picture to be different than original.
Using brushes is forbidden, exception is if only change colors without acting like an object.
Local retouch brushes/tools which are changing only colors without affecting look of the original given picture is allowed.
There are many advanced effects which can be used and many online editors or apps that you can install on your PC, lap top or phone. Cartoon effects which makes picture like its from some cartoon, or drawn, but picture basics are kept are allowed.

Forbidden:
- resizing
- smudge tool (very small percent is allowed, so it should not cause huge deviation from original picture), excessive usage of sharpen tool (its allowed, but if you pixelate picture and we can't see anymore picture, then its bad and not good), brush (if it will change the look of original picture which is not related with colors) and pencil tool (only allowed if following lines, should not change the original picture)
- 3rd objects like stars, animals, flowers, and others...
- removing parts from original picture (exception apply for very small parts where effect can dominate over small piece with color and there that piece might be covered by effect)

That is the very first copywrite and ideas for it
That document is still within the engine to this day xD
That engine is prob older than half the people playing the game xD
That is crazy tho
