I am preparing my next entry and I am wondering... Are Aionios and Sapros still "droppable"? I cannot find them anywhere in the droplist and they would fit quite well into my build.

Maybe too fast. I stumbled upon some Tigerman Mage hero with reflect damage and landed a maxxed out Phantom Strike on him :D You can guess the result.

Decided to blitz through Egypt as well. Manticore was a bit scary due to my measly Pierce Resistance, but it worked out well.

Not much to say. Act I Epic is easy. I am still relying on EBD like a fool - I don't have much of a choice since I don't really have a suitable gear in my vault.

I installed the latest version and it works smoothly. Time to let Ororo beat the crap out of Epic monsters :)

This looks amazing. I am a huge fan of Defense as I don't mind taking things slow but steady. I think I will try this toon for the XMAX Challenge, if my Templar dies.

Hey Titan Slayers!

We have been very silent since the last update and wanted to inform you guys why. Black Forest Games had to go in with all their man power into other projects. But that doesn’t mean you will not receive further updates.

Pieces Interactive who brought you Ragnarök in 2017 is working on further Titan Quest updates and will also take over work of the console SKUs. They are no strangers to the game and have a lot of passion for Titan Quest.

So behind the scenes we are already preparing next steps but please bear with us for the next update as we have some work ahead of us.

I have to figure out a way how to get my gaming PC and the monitor to Antwerp  ;D

Aaaaaand, the Normal difficulty is finished.

Ororo - L61 Templar AER (TWINKED) - Helos

Templar seems like an excellent Normal difficulty class... very tanky, Trance of Wrath to dish out constant (and relatively high if you prioritize +%EBD) DPS and Armor Handling to help you equip all that shiny Legendary gear much earlier.

Let's see how he will fare on Epic.

I will put him on a hold for a while since I simply do not have the necessary gear to continue. I doubt EBD will carry me through Epic, so I need to re-spec into DPS build. I will have to go farm Act IV legendary with my Haruspex and try to find some top tier items. Aionios would be super useful and perhaps Sapros as well?

Congrats Tauceti - very well done and Spellbreaker is not a class that I would expect to see to win this challenge any time soon - well you have sure as hell proven me wrong :)

I have also decided to rejoin the challenge - I am getting back to my roots with a Templar, but this time I am rolling as a twinked char (Siegfried is farming the gear on Legendary for this challenge).

Currently I am letting EBD carry me as far as it can, so my gear is fully optimized for +%EBD.

My goal is to at least reach Legendary, because I really think Epic is very much doable if one plays quite carefully and optimizes gear accordingly.

Don't have much late game gear prepared either - apart from improved Athena's Battle Greaves with +Poison Resistance.

Thank you. I have done it before and it can be done. Tho TQIT was a lot easier than AER. The difference can be felt from the first levels. Hope i can do it.

Others can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the thrown weapons DON'T work with a shield. You can wear a shield and enjoy it's inherent bonuses such Resists and Chance to Avoid Projectiles (which is very nice in the early stages), but it will not proc, if you are using a thrown weapons. Likewise, you will not be able to use skills like Batter or Shield Charge.

Just out of curiosity, what did you use in TQ IT to achieve a sufficiently high regen rate? Did you boost your flat Health/Mana regen rate or did you ensure your gear has a lot of ADCtH and Energy Leech?

Well done Tauceti!

I cannot say the same for myself - Siegfried unfortunately died in Land's End, right before the final boss.

I aggro'ed a room full of Lava dudes and Dark Elves, the game started chopping a bit and as a result my ADCtH wasn't triggering. I agree that Act V isn't really suited towards xmax - troll areas are way too choppy and Jotunheim & Land's End are a bit challenging even with a pretty broken class.

Nevertheless, this didn't discourage me from playing on - I'll be using Siegfried to farm some nice Legendary and MI gear and my future attempts will be Twinked as well :)
