Looking good! Maybe it's better for start to make them the general way, like the Masteries board you made. Just add other subforums, to make the site look more complete. Fancy names are just details.

Not sure what do you mean. Dividing them to more categories will only make the things complicated. About fancy names, that can be done later, adding inside the boards board descriptions.

From my experience, its not good to go with too many categories, one part should be on one side, next one on another and so on. Masteries will have a better preview in the same category, but what I was thinking was even to merge all that boards under since board with name Mastery, but then it won't looks so cool, but it will save a lot of space.
Point of categories is to have at least 2 boards.

we already have general discussions at the top and bottom anyways and new projects and technical support falls under info

I'm hoping we fill this board with game mechanics guides, heads up news like possibly DLCs in the future and new builds even for TQAE.. i mean new and not the old TQIT builds that's been used gazillions of times

This post is about forum visibility on phones/tablets - forum theme is not responsive. That means it can be a problem for users which use phone/tablet (not 100% sure about tablets). For making theme responsive some guys are taking 40+e.

i checked my pc and the layout is the same.
i know about the responsiveness.. sometimes i refresh the page 10x just to load right.. but I'm not always in front of my pc.. my tablet i can bring with me everywhere

In my opinion the General Discussion should be the first thing people see whenever they come into the forums. It's intuitive and guides people into the most populated/active part of the forum, which is always great considering we need every single detail to entice people into staying here due to the game's age and small community. The faster someone can reach here and see all the activity the better. I was personally confused that not only was the AE and IT sections separated with a lot of subcategories, but also that General Discussion was a scroll downwards despite being the usual "main hub" for most forums.

Anyhow, happy that there's an attempt to replace good ol' TQ.net. TQ for life ♥!

seventh, TQIT and TQAE have different sections because things like builds won't necessarily be the same for both versions of the game.  Poinas' Pwning with Spirit guide for example doesn't work particularly well in the AE version so not likely to be a build that people would want to try out if they're playing that version of the game.

Still I agree, I think now everything's laid out General Discussion should be up after the Announcements section and before you get into the different game category stuff. Since it also contains the New Members subsection that would be a better position for it.

Just noticed that the gameplay sections of IT and AE have a childboard called "Tutorials". Shouldn't those be called "Guides"? I assume that's their purpose: Guides for Masteries and Characters?

Also, there's no Tutorials section in the Modding forums, is there?
