Hello,

I would like to use 10X mod made by yybot on steam, but as gog user I can't even contact him for a external link. I hate steam...
Can someone share/import his 2 mods, please ?

Also, I would like to know how to change health for all. I think about a X5 HP mod for all enemy, for early game.

No, I'm still looking for a steam user who can share these two mods. I'm so interrested into it, that I'm waiting to update to 2.8, in according to the compatibility of the mod...
And I would like to know how to mod HP. I am okay about first steps to create mod, or merge but I don't know what to modify concerning health mob.

forgot to mention, you have to find the creature's .dbr file. it'll have several parameters such as "monster parameters", "ambush parameters" and so forth.

if you want to edit the hp go to character bio>character parameters>character bonus attributes.

I'm exploring the 10X mod arz contents and I've found Character Bio/Character Parameters/Character Bonus Attributes: characterLife.
But it seems there is one per-monster file for over 600 different files in
records\creature\monster\
records\xpack\creatures\monster\
records\xpack2\creatures\monster\
Should I change everything? It may change the entire game, no matter how difficult it is.

What I'm looking for is to modify global health for each difficulty, as yybot does, since it has configured Normal x7, Epic x10 Legendary x10.
I guess there are like 3 parameters to change.

under character parameters>character bonus attributes you can modify the life modifier and/or character life.

i dont know how they work exactly. probably best to try something out and see what happens.

It's an array of values, with each representing a % increase of all monsters' health.
Values 1 to 6 are for Normal difficulty, with 1 to 6 players.
Values 7 to 12 are for Epic difficulty, with 1 to 6 players.
Values 13 to 18 are for Legendary difficulty, with 1 to 6 players.

About characterLife and characterLifeModifier, I understand both are in percentage, concern difficulty and number of player.
So what's the difference between them ? It seems being redundant... ???

characterLife is a flat increase, as opposed to characterLifeModifier, which is percent-based.

i am not finding that file anywhere. you sure about this?

edit: so odd this file didnt get extracted with my other files...i hate art manager so hard!

Hello, has the first topic of a 10 times exp mod be solved?
I tried the link but only gives me a blank page.

Can someone please elaborate which file actually contains the formula for the experience gained by monsters?


I had another expX4 mod which did work properly.

tried to change the "experienceequation" in any gameengine.dbr file that I could find inside the mod.

like changing it from *7 to *700, changing that would be very obvious.

but sadly it didnt change the in game stuff at all.

no matter what i did to the experience equations found in the gamengine files, the game jsut didnt behave any differently! :O

What did I wrong there? :O
