« on: 13 May 2021, 14:48:53 »
Would anyone have the updated M4ssboss3s mod to work on the gog version of the game TQAE to share?

Version 3.7.4.0, I need to add skill points to my character to a test but it seems not possible without increasing the level of the character

EDITED:
Never mind, TQ Defiler apparently still works to this case in TQ AE 2.9

Technical Support / Re: Titan Quest Anniversary Edition crashes
« on: 06 January 2021, 14:40:56 »
I suppose the problem occurs when the graphics becomes too heavy, although I cannot believe it is possible with my computer configuration :D Anyway, I think I've had the problem only once in the last couple of weeks. Maybe Windows update, video card driver update etc. finally came to peace :D
Well, several people reported the same problem in topics in STEAM, to me the problem rarely happens outside the acts "Ragnarok" and "Atlantis", when I arrive in "Ragnarok" I already know that the problem will happen and it happens sometimes, in "Atlantis" the frequency is so great that I don’t even go to it in my "Replay-Value", it's good that this last act is currently optional.

EDITED:
In other words, in most cases the PC meets the requirements which shows that this is a problem that needs to be solved.

Hello, i would like to suggest the control to delete own messages to normal users, at least the messages alone (not the whole topic), if this control already exists you can ignore this message.

This script is useful to several things in the game for those who don't like to get physically tired while playing, it is of the "Key-Bot" type, to use it you need to install "AutoHotKey", in totally offline gameplay there is nothing to prohibit this apparently, more information on the link:

Quests / Re: Primrose Passage Secret Quest
« on: 24 December 2020, 13:20:04 »
So i learned from a vid that neither delphi nor corinth are neccisary. The spell piece locations are rakotis slums, cave near jade palace temple portal, cave of apollo in elysium, and the recipe the proponus ruin closest to madea's grove and is only accessible if you have the grey sisters eye in possesion. After that just to a enchanter and craft the primrose.
Yes this is very simple, the only pain can be the cost to make the item if you are going to do it in the normal difficulty currently in version 2.9 with a new character, if anyone still has doubts, this video can help:

This happens to me as in the bug report I did here:
https://redmine.thqnordic.com/issues/73318
The possibility of crashes apparently starts to happen in Ragnarok, in Atlantis the frequency is higher, the most annoying is the loss of recognition of the region explored on the map because in this game I like to leave the map fully explored beating every enemy on the whole map.
If they need to choose only 1 bug to remove from all the bugs I saw, I think it should be this one, it’s the most urgent.

I'm running 2.9, and it never crash. My video card also sucks (integrated Intel HD 4600). So, playing in DX9 mode... :)
You are lucky, I thought this problem happens on all computers

Nature AE / Nature apology

It is a mastery that impresses me, it apparently has support to almost all types of characters, nowadays I just avoid using that mastery to avoid falling into the repetition of using it all the time that can make my replay-value boring.

Characters that attack at close range that give preference to physical damage:
The mastery has a good debuff ("Plague" and its last extension).
There are wolf pets, its last extension has buff of physical attack to the main character (AI in defense in this case imo).
It also has "Heart of Oak" that increases the HP.
It also has "Regrowth" which can be very useful in situations where health potions are not enough.

Characters focused on elemental damage:
The mastery has a good debuff ("Plague" and its last extension).
It also has "Heart of Oak" that increases the HP.
It also has "Regrowth" which can be very useful in situations where health potions are not enough.

Characters focused on damage with pets:
The mastery has the wolves and the nymph.
The mastery has a good debuff ("Plague" and its last extension in the case of physical and elemental pets for example).
It also has "Heart of Oak" that increases the HP(also in the case of pets).
It also has "Regrowth" which can be very useful in situations where health potions are not enough(pets may also need this).

Characters focused on poison damage:
The mastery has a good debuff ("Plague" and its last extension).
It also has "Heart of Oak" that increases the HP.
It also has "Regrowth" which can be very useful in situations where health potions are not enough.

Guides AE / Attribute distribution to beginners
« on: 21 December 2020, 17:03:37 »
I didn't see anything about it in the little bit that I researched so maybe this topic is ok.
If you think you have problem distributing the attribute points correctly, or you miss an effective way to distribute the points this information can help.

Sometimes it is desirable to distribute the points in a more controlled way, you can do it as follows, for example, if you want to add points in Health, Energy, Int and Dex giving preference to Int, it seems better to wait to have 6 points and distribute only with 6 points at a time as follows:
Health+1
Energy+1
Int+3
Dex+1
To distribute equally, just wait to get 4 points:
Health+1
Energy+1
Int+1
Dex+1
The usefulness of this strategy seen in these few examples of wait to have more points, is that it avoids you distributing the points in an uncontrolled way like always add the points when you gain a level with only 2 points, for having the chance of having forgotten where you placed the points the last time you won the level, because often the player wants to distribute more than 2 points at a time, as in this other example, I want to distribute points in Health, Str and Dex in a controlled way giving preference to Str, so I can distribute points only when I have at least 4 points like this:
Health+1
Str+2
Dex+1

Of course, you can change the strategy after you have enough points in one attribute to favor others more important attributes, for example, some characters based on "Int" only need "Dex" to equip pieces of armor, so in this case it might be better to increase "Dex" until it is at the required value for "Int" based endgame armor (you can take a look at the armors in Asgard's stores on Legendary difficulty for example).
Can leave opinions about this strategy
