Vitality dmg
« on: 13 January 2020, 20:06:38 »
Hi guys,

Is vitality based ternion viable for legendary ragnarok and atlantis?

There are 2 nice legendary staffs with vit dmg, fafnir and pixi...something ;)

Will i need a swap for undead and constructs?

Or deathchill will break their immunity?

Cheer!

Hi, I some time ago played ternion attack vitality diviner with Praxidikae.
I made her as accomplished hero so I can not  say anything about low levels.   I used some green staff socketed with heartblood until level 53.
She had bad time with constructs and crystal golems in Mimer maze. You definitely need something to lower their resists  or other weapon on switch maybe?
Otherwise it was fun and no big problems.  She died several times but that is just me being clumsy and lazy and drinking coffee  :)  I do not play hardcore.
I played her on Ragnarok only, vanilla game. I did not have Atlantis at that time.

Hedgehog explains it well, but just want to drive home the point that you're going to really need a backup plan for constructs/devices. Starting off a vitality damage focused toon recently I quickly found I needed a backup weapon early on to deal with traps, mechanical/statue type enemies etc. Later on might be different but starting out you may want as good a melee or bow/thrown in your weapon swap. Look out for weapons that have a +damage to constructs those can really help.
