Went through the map and found every obsidian rock I could (and added a few) and then added an invisible monster near it.

The monster has a 5m attack aura that does offensive %3 current life like deathchill, %3 mana burn and has a 10% chance to confuse, frighten or convert pets.

It cannot be dispelled of course :)

Added +4% run speed reward to Flight of the Messenger quest in act 4 Elysium.

i vote for a staff, wait..it can be the melle staffs ? the ones you made in previous version, i will fit like a charm

It is true, if there gonna be some quests giving same element bonus , surely will become bit strong. 1 quest boosting each element would be enought, imo. Since there will be relic to fix the elemental issue, Plus the ordnance bonus

Not a spear for sure, does he wields it while you fight him (forgot). I think it's a staff, or a melee staff.
Btw, your quest overhaul is inspiring... i think to do something similar for the EG mod. Maybe turn some of the quests rewards to a crafting skill tree. Or a devotion tree like Grim Dawn.

@sauruz I agree, but as I add more quest rewards I will have to be careful to monitor the total resistance value. No worries, just a note to myself.

About quests that send you to collect items - lost dowry, chirons bow, staff of khufu etc. What if they are real equippable item and you can choose to keep them instead of returning them to the quest giver? If you leave a certain zone with the item or sell it (if possible) you dont get reward and you fail the quest. An RPG game should give you more choises!

mhm i dont think +15 bonus resistance ( if you completed the legendary version) will be to strong, since the game is harder :)

well, you only get the bonus resistance if you kill the boss monster i am right ? If the foe is strong the reward will suit the effort

If this is all accurate information, the quest journal, you rplaying experience, the quest files...then there are only 6 quest skills in the questskilltree2.dbr. Out of 25.

Mimer's quest grants 10 intelligence which used to take up 3 skill slots, which I consolidated to 1 (MODDERS NOTE: I tested and verified that quest skills ARE affected by +1 to all skills buffs). Then there are 3 skills that are needed for spawning NPCs and summons for 3 different quests.

I removed all the race defense skills form the quest skill tree.

Which frees up 20 slots for other things :)

And I have only used 14 out of 25 in the vanilla quest skill tree as well.

Lots of room now for new quest skills.


I created a MI sword called Ragnarok for Surtr to drop. It has only a level requirement so any class can use it. +2 skills, casts eruption on attack. Sweet :)

I wonder if +3,+5,+7 is too much resistance to give for a quest reward now. Oh well, it is a work in progress. I may edit them as I add new quest rewards.

Better two +2 rewards than one +3.

i dont think there was any quest giving a  choice of racial defense.

i will give you a list of act 5 side quests and what rewards gave me.

Festives-xp
Sciron- xp/gold and 2x scrolls
Northen contract-xp and completed artefact

White gold- i gave the ring to womam, it gave me xp and blue item
Heart to Stomach-xp
Golden sickle-xp and blue item

Wine from the Rhine-xp and x25 hp pots
Celtic plaid-xp and yellow item
Trouble son-xp and yellow item

Litle firends-xp and green item
The Kornwft Scythe- xp
Trapped Nixie-xp and 1 skill point

Fir Cone Liquor- didnt get nothing since its connected to main quest
Magic Cauldron-xp and blue staff
The Retless King- xp and yellow item

The survivor-xp and yellow item
Giesel-xp and gold
Dverger History-xp and 2x Skill points

Squabbling Merchants-xp and yellow item
Craftman passion- Lupine necklase formulae and xp
(both side quests are connected)

Legendary craftmanship-xp and you can enchant a blue/purple item

The spectral wolf and Chiron gives 2x atribute points
( i couldnt finish the spectral wolf quest)

Update 0.2:

- Fixed armor thighplates on all animations going through the player's legs
- New animation for Volley (bow)
- New animation for Jump Slash (dual wield)
- New idle emote animation + sound
- Slightly increased gallop sound
- Small tweaks on other animations
