Disable ragdoll physics... how?
« on: 01 August 2022, 20:30:49 »
I guess it isn't possible because a search on this site and the entire web did not yield any useful result...

A workaround is to to make the death effect "dissolve" and the dissolve time 0.5 secs...

Disabling the ragdoll is not the same as removing the bodies from the screen. The question was precisely in disabling the ragdoll, which I did. In the future, ask the right question. ;)
Well, even though I did not help you, I found a way to disable the fall of loot on the ground (thereby solving the problem in which the loot cannot be picked up, which is very useful for me)

You are absolutely right. That was the question. And you seem to have to solution. (But I can visually prefer a workaround, can I not?)

Anyway, how did you do it? Did you modify the animation? If so, which one?

And even more interesting, how did you achieve this: "I found a way to disable the fall of loot on the ground, thereby solving the problem in which the loot cannot be picked up"
I have exactly that problem!

I just disabled ragdoll in dll.

Again through editing dll. Disabled falling objects on the ground (just hanging in the air). But due to the fact that there is no touch with the ground, there is no sound of the item falling out.

Hello! Can you give me a dll with disabled ragdoll physics for the death animation?
The death animation is very slow on my system and freezes in the game. Although other gameplay works fine

Thank you!

Thanks, it works! I think it will be useful to other people with a similar problem. I've seen this issue on the forums (especially on Steam) but haven't found a solution.

For a long time I made a modification that hides the bodies of mobs from the screen after their death. Perhaps it will suit you so that the "frozen" bodies of mobs do not interfere on the screen (as I did a long time ago, it does not work for mobs from DLC Atlantis and DLC Eternal Embers).
Normal bounce modification (copy to %UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps\) - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zr-D0FFYjUul0qfXzMVL73TcKuM8flAY

P.S. To understand what I mean, I attach a video.
On the video - "Orig" is how it works for you with ragdoll disabled. And the third option is "Delete", how it will work with this mod.
