Why was Psionic Beam bug reverted? Is it not supposed to work only with staffs? Dev confirm?

Lets say I have an axe (200 damage) with sufix (20 bonus damage) and peng claw relic (50 damage). I have a shield (150 damage) with spiny shell (50 damage). I have a ring with 10 physical damage. I have battle rage activated (20 damage) .
Than I hit and enemy with shield proc Disable. The skill does 30 damage.

How do all these damages go against armour or resistances? Do they combine first or is each individual or is only shield with the relic individual?

That is insane. I would psionic touch is as of now better far better than calculated strike for spears/bows. And on par with onslaught. It is +50% phyisical damage every hit vs +100% total damage every second hit.

With volley you can proc psionic touch two times in a single hit!!!!

Hello!

Can someone confirm this for me, if I am right or wrong.

Example:
I have a spear with 100 damage and 25% pierce ratio and +100% total damage modifier.
+100% Total damage translates to +100% physical and +100% pierce damage.

-Spear does 100 physical * 2(100% physical modifier) = 200 physical damage
-Pierce ratio changes that to 150 physical and 50 pierce damage
-Pierce damage does 50 pierce * 2(100% pierce modifier) = 100 pierce damage

Is this correct? Do physical modifiers come before pierce ratio conversion and thus +% total damage affects pierce damage twice?

I am thinking about spears and psionic touch, because psionic beam as of now also reduces charge levels(-2 at 8 levels) for melee weapons, meaning you can do huge damage every other hit.
