Post by: zivshteg on 22 July 2018, 20:55:11
so im fiddeling with art manger and came across medicine skill tree with skills such as
angeldust - Confuses enemy into thinking your a friend
heartburn - From your head to your toes.
lowbloodsugar - Weakens your enemy
sweepvitamindrip - Refreshes skill cooldown
is this some joke by the creators?

Wouldn't surprise me.  Grava snuck the Secret Passage in at the last minute before the game's release so this may be some more of his work.  Sneaky dev.  ;D

I think it was supposed to be a vanilla mastery but was trashed during the development. Its skills are now unused but remain in the game's files.

Medicine is a mastery that evidently were written off during earlier stages of development, back when they used colorized descriptions for skills.
There's a number of unused assets found in the database, that's left there likely as a legacy.

Good thing they trashed it, these are the most weird skills I've ever seen :D

That's unlikely. You don't put effort in creating a skill tree for it to be just buried in the files. Could have been a test run.

There's actually enough rather odd or funny things you can stumble upon in the database. Some of it probably would've been considered easter eggs if it ever was in the actual game. For instance in the sandbox there's this TQ2000 folder filled with sci-fi-ish stuff. Or how about an actual gift box tied to a balloon.
