from the changelog:

+ Physical DoT now increases by 10% per 50 intelligence

What is physical DoT? i don't think I've seen one from skills or items.. I don't think the physical damage from eruption is DoT.. it's not listed as such and it's damage per hit so it should scale with strength, right?

+ Physical damage from abilities and item bonuses now scales with Strength (10% per 65)

same for distortion wave

anyone ever seen physical DoT from skills or items?

In-game (Anniversary Edition) it's called "Wound Damage" and is not on any player item or equipment skill.

The only places that wound damage appear in AE is:
Database\records\skills\boss skills\boareater_web_debuf.dbr
Database\records\skills\boss skills\masika_sandstorm.dbr
Database\records\skills\boss skills\sandwraithlord_sandstorm.dbr

These are skills that are used by the heroes Boar Eater giant spider and Queen Masika sandwing hero.

The Sandwraith Lord uses this in his Sandstorm skill: 122,194 or 243 physical damage over 1 second (Area of Effect like Squall) in Normal difficulty. Explains why it cuts through all your resistances. :-)

wow the way they said it it's like they're implying you could boost your physical DoT by increasing int.. they never said it's only from monsters.. all this time my only answer to myself was the devs somehow got confused and mixed it up with GD.. like internal trauma lol

also, hail squall.. the best skill in the game

PS: there's no way to decrease a monster's int either.. sometimes devs are weird

(also, can you please indent physical DoT blah blah to make it easier to read? also please put a one line space after that.. i don't see an edit option.. everything i put in parentheses no need to include)

also, if the devs just wanted to increase wound damage of those 3 bosses, why did they list it under general mechanics and not under enemies?

Some mods (e.g. Legion of Champions) use Physical DoT mechanic, it's not a small change for modders.
