Other Modifications / Problem with the Defiler

I got the message Rebirth data version is not 1, this character may be incompatible with this program. when trying to open a character and then the defiler closes. Does anyone know what to do about this?

Items / Legendary Craftmanship

I have crafted quite a few items with the new Legendary Craftmanship quest available in Act 5. With Vitaility Resistance and Bleeding Resistances dropping to -100% at Legendary the focus has become heavier on resistances, affecting damage output. The new quest makes it easier to build a steady character, but also significantly decreases the use of green items as well as MIs. Something I think is a shame, because MIs are a very cool and unique thing of TQ.

I have also found that non-weapon items get affixes from the torso affixes list, regardless of the item. This means you could get a Veteran's/Juggernaut's/Mountaineer's/Hale Ring Of the Gods/Of the Glade/Of the Mammoth. Very cool, yet it gives a strange feel and Head Armor with head affixes is simply not possible, which is a shame I think.

Then my question is to everyone of you: What item do you love and why and what upgrade would you like for that item to fit your character/idea?

Items / Item Seeds

All those who have been playing TQ for some time know that certain item seeds are much better than others. At some point I was tired of comparing newly found items with others and started paying more attention to item seeds and if there was a similarity in them with regard to how good items really were. I found that it varies depending on what stat you want to be high in an item as well. There isn't one item that is all powerful (although some are very close at times) and it depends on your character's needs whether you use it or not. I did find some seed number that are incredibly strong in most items and I currently have a set of 16 different ones I use to get the most out of my items. Yes, I am aware that this is a form of cheating and no I do not care about it. It's just getting the most out of your cool gear. I'll list them below and anyone interested can use them according to will or just ignore my post of that suits you. I'd also be more than happy to know if anyone else has done the same and if yes, I'd love them to share their seed numbers. Without further ado, here is my list:

Items / MIs

Now I haven't done a lot of investigation yet, but it seems AE and Ragnarok brought along some nice new MIs and it appears some drop rates have changed. For instance, the Ceremonial MIs dropped by mummies in Act 2 seem to have a much higher drop rate than it had before. I remember finding only a few (one or two actually) of them in gazillion hours of TQ before, and now they drop all the time it seems.

Does anyone else have noticed anything odd/different with regard to MIs? I know some have changed as well. SBC now only has 10% elemental resistance rather than the old 25% and Batrachos Greaves now give a flat DA bonus rather than a % bonus, making them as good as worthless. With the ability to craft uniques all green items and even the vast majority of MIs have become obsolete I feel.

New cool MIs linked to the first 4 Acts I have discovered are:

Jaguar Claws (dropped by Maenads) and Skeleton Darts (dropped by Skeletons in (at least) Acts 1, 2 and 3)
