Change golden star above heroes

Does anyone know how to get rid of the golden star above heroes head ?
Is there a mesh or something that can be deleted, or can I apply a transparent texture over it ?

I remember looking for the mesh a long time ago, but all I remember is that I concluded it's in the game engine itself somehow.

If you find it, I'd like to know where it is as well.

It is a mesh, named heromonsterbillboard01.msh and found under xpack/effects/particles/creature
