i personally find DoTs helpful in AoE attacks: hit A, B, C, D, E monsters with DoT, hit A again, then B. by the time you get to D and E, most of their health are depleted already. is that applicable to gouge though? not surebtw anyone knows if gouge also applies to thrown weapons? i haven't checked in-game yet
So to recap, Gouge now does about 100-150% more damage than it did in TQ:IT.Its animation is still slower than a regular attack, so for this reason, it's probably still not worth spending any points in except with builds that focus on bleeding damage.
