Game won't connect online

(1/2) > >>

H0RSE:
I have TQ:AE along with the Ragnarok DLC on Steam. Whenever I try to join or host an online session, the game doesn't respond. It doesn't crash or freeze, it just does nothing. I click "connect" and then button is greyed out along with the start button at the bottom right corner and the game just acts as if I didn't do anything at all.

After I click connect, I am able to click and unclick any of the 'bubbles' (solo, mp, lan, internet, etc.) and they do nothing. I can hit "back" and play solo, but trying to play online resorts in the game having no response at all.

Is this a known issue and is there a fix for it?

- I have the game and Steam added to my exceptions in my firewall and my antivirus
- I have a VPN and have tried connecting with and without it enabled

Medea Fleecestealer:
Don't multiplay myself, but have you verified the game files?  For Steam right click on the game in your library and go down to Properties.  Then choose Local Files and then Verify Integrity of Game Files.

Made sure the drivers are up to date?

Completely exited Steam and then opened it again?

H0RSE:
I've done all of that. Even did a full re-install of the game.

H0RSE:
