Thank you! I remember you from the old forums, just not sure if it was on tq.net or ign's vault forum. No matter  :)

Yes, i heard about GD but havent tried it out yet...completely stopped gaming on pc since i got a console :/

Thanks for all the info and links!

Would have been TQ.net, I wasn't on ign.  Then good news for you since Grim Dawn will also be coming to Xbox.  No official date yet, but the devs are working hard to get it out posthaste!  ;D

Well this is great news again!

Indeed.  It's going to be interesting to see console players reactions to the game.  If you use the link to their website http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/index.php you'll see a section called Development Updates.  It's here that the devs announce anything and everything to do with the game.  They have regular updates of what's happening, at the moment the schedule is fortnightly with the next Grim Misadventure being on the 2nd April.  Sometimes it news on new pieces of equipment/weapons or to show off some of the new foes we'll be fighting, sometimes to tell us how the latest update to the game is coming along (because they're always working to make it that little bit better), other times it's MAJOR news such as the recently announced 2nd expansion for the game http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68923.  Crate, right from the start, have made it a point to interact closely with their fan base and they don't do exclusive announcement deals with game magazines, etc.  The fans always hear it first right on the forum.

Welcome to our new home Bobinho11.  Yes, sadly the old TQ.net site was closed suddenly by the owners at the beginning of September with no warning or explanation.  So here we are.

I don't know if this will work with Xbox, but there is a new TQVault available for PC.

https://titanquestfans.net/index.php?topic=246.0

Hopefully our modding community will start making mods to cover the consoles as well.

Soulseekkor, who made TQDefiler, has a combined version with TQIT's spriritual successor Grim Dawn.

http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9343

But unfortunately it doesn't have the various mods like freeze time of day, etc, available yet.

There's also an Anniversary Edition of the famous TitanCalc which you can find here:

https://www.kirmiziperfect.com/titan-quest-anniversary-edition-calculator/

And if you haven't tried Grim Dawn, please do so.  It's built on the old TQ engine, but has been reworked massively during the game's development.  It has many similarities to TQIT obviously, but has much more depth and complexity.  It was made by Arthur Bruno who worked on TQIT before Iron Lore folded, he formed Crate Entertainment a few years ago.

Welcome to the forum Vortimous.  Unfortunately, I don't play consoles, but hopefully some of our other members do and are trying out the game on them.  One suggestion, and I don't know if it's possible, but when I use Herbal Remedy to cast on pets I cast it on their pet icon rather than targeting them onscreen.  Have you tried doing that to your own icon with Regrowth?

Well done Tauceti.  Looks like, all being well, you'll soon be joining gasconron in Epic.  :)

Happy birthday Cygi.  Have a great day today.  :)

Bad luck gasconron.  He/they are always a pain to deal with.  I usually stick with ranged attacks from bow or spells and make sure to run for the cave should there be any possibility of those darn meteors falling.  Really annoying that they can be cast when he/they are offscreen as well.  Better luck with Sivon we hope.

1568
Well, I would guess he knows your name from TQ.net and GD forums.  I was thinking more along the lines of just asking him how easy or difficult it would be to do those mods, not asking for his resources.

1569
gasconron, I've no idea how complicated it may be, but if you do decide to try could you add the ability to open all your inventory bags option as well?  I find it so annoying early game to have to keep going back and forth to sell stuff because only one bag is available.  With the old Defiler when I created a new toon, I'd run around Helos opening the first portal and then the caravan, exit the game then use Defiler to open all the inventory bags before going back to play the new toon.  It makes life so much easier when collecting everything to get enough money to expand your personal stash.

Soul's plan long term plan as far as I know is to make the combined TQ/GD Defiler have most if not all of the old mods in it.

http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9343

It's just a question of when, if ever, he'll get around to it.  :( Have you asked him for any pointers to how difficult it might be?

Added to the leaderboard gasconron and good luck with them.  :)

botebote77, I see your point.  But the challenge does, and always has, allowed for twinking - which many people will label as cheating or cheesing.  The question is where do you draw the line?  Is it okay to use stuff from your Vault collection?  If yes, and you've put a modded item in it, is it then okay to use that item or not?  Do you restrict it to self-found toons only - which may well put the more casual players off trying the challenge and more experienced as well because of all the possible farming needed to get their "ideal" build gear?

For me, while I like the leaderboard and seeing people progress up it, the main challenge is me against the Xmax mod - not against other players.  People who do complete this challenge untwinked have my admiration because I know I couldn't do what they did.  I'm not that good a player and couldn't stand to do the necessary farming for gear to try.  Stormyboy completed the challenge with an untwinked Haruspex and using no potions whatsoever.  gasconron has completed it so many times with so many different builds, but they are twinked.  I admire both of them for their achievements.  Heck, I admire anyone who manages to do this challenge because they deserve it.  They set their personal limits on how they play within the challenge's rules.

Finally, people who want to cheat/cheese will do so.  We can't affect what they do in their normal game and frankly it's not up to us to judge them anyway.  It's a single player game and what they do doesn't affect anyone else.  The challenge rules are clearly laid out, if they want to take part and will abide by those rules, fine.  If not, then this challenge isn't for them.

D2 had hirelings (mercenaries) you could hire to join you in your quests.  Not something I particularly like, but I understand they appeal to a lot of folk.  So long as they're optional, i.e. you don't need them to beat the game I'm okay, but if you can't beat the game without having mercenaries fighting alongside you then forget it.

1573
Well done Tauceti. That sends you nicely up the leaderboard.  :)

gasconron, good question.  I've not accessed this since I've no toon in Legendary in the game at present.  Looking at your link and given the fact it is a late game thing I'm inclined to say yes.  Of course people who play a lot may build up some overpowered items in their collection, but as you said it doesn't always provide a useful bonus.  Still, as per the old thread on TQ.net, looking for concensus from those participating in the challenge - what do you folks think?  Allowed or not?

1574
Having found a couple of new ones I finally decided to check the Collector and have a few more new ones than I thought.  Total: 1524/2284 (66.73%).  Latest finds: Icescale Armour and Master Forge Helmet.

1575
Well done gasconron.  ;D  And very appropriate that on the day TQAE is released on console platforms we get our first epic toon in the challenge here on the new forum.
