Newbie looking for a working camera mod
« on: 26 February 2020, 15:37:55 »
Hi!

A new member that is already asking questions... I know, a great start :)

I'm Carry and my husband decided it would be fun to game together.
Ages ago, when we met, we loved to play TQ but the only drawback was that I always got a headache from the camera angle.
He found me a camera mod and installed it, and I could keep playing for hours.
Life happened, we had to do adult stuff like work, we didn't play TQ very much anymore...  :(
Then, last December he gifted me TQ:Atlantis for Christmas.
Now I have the same problem... I get a headache!
My husband tried to find a working camera mod but his old bookmarks don't work anymore (I know, after 10+ years it's not that strange  ;)).
I found a few camera mods in the Steam Workshop but I can't get them to change the camera angle.
Can anyone point us in the direction of a working mod?

Just in case it's important: I'm playing TQ:AE from Steam with Ragnarok and Atlantis installed, on Windows 10 64bit.

Thanks!
Carry.

The camera mod you used - was it rotating camera or just different camera angle? The second is not hard to make, but first (rotating camera) is not working since Atlantis.

Thanks for the welcome  :) *waves at efko*

I think the mod I used could rotate as well, but I didn't use that option very much.
I remember having to hold the mouse wheel, move down a little so the angle of the camera changed from the default very vertical one to something a bit more horizontal and that was it.
I hope that helps.

Hello CarryNL

I think i remember the camera mod, but sadly with the last expac , ATlantis, broke alot of current mods ingame. Unless the author redone the mod im not sure if will works again.

I could be wrong, maybe theres someone else with different answer.
Check my upcoming TQ project - Titanomachy - "https://titanquestfans.net/index.php?topic=910.0"

Hi!
Any updates on a rotating camera mod for atlantis? It would be a dream come true.

I realize this is an old question but I've found a rotate mod that works with my version of Titan Quest Anniversary (the latest on steam, with all expansions):

also, I don't think this was clear in the reame but you can adjust camera pitch by holding down the open bracket key ("[") and using the mouse wheel.

You can also change pretty much all camera setting by editing the tqcamera.ini file that comes with the mod
