Title: Haruspex why? what makes it so good?
Post by: Dragonsnacks on 29 June 2018, 19:54:20
I could have sworn when I first played this the Hunter/Dream would make my arrows put mobs to sleep or stun or something, and that is why it was so good. Its been a while. But I was looking over the Dream skills and don't see what makes it so good. I tried to search for Haruspex but can't find anything. Someone please give me a quick rundown on what makes it so good with a bow, maybe throwing dagger, these things are kind of cool.  Thanks

There was the broken build called immortal haruspex during IT time. Both masteries have skills that grant projectile evasion and DA. If you stack even more of these, you can become immune to both shots and melee attacks, and can only take damage from aoe spells. Projectile evasion was nerfed to have 80% cap, and returns from DA stacking was nerfed too in Anniversary.

what mammoth said.. also in TQIT, any hunting with maxed scatter shot can clear mobs very quickly.. it was a broken build you can easily get 99% chance to dodge.. in TQIT, my most powerful build was my str/dex haruspex.. in AE/R, perhaps my most powerful build is my str/int haruspex.. a totally different playstyle but a bit too OP actually
