Sade news I died at level 14 i was stun on a  mob group. They stuned me haha ^^

It was a great experience and a come back on the game.

Ahhh unlucky Khaan. Yeah patience is the key with Xmax, can't risk being too eager and getting mobbed at the start, gotta take it slow while you get your key skills.

Update: finished Epic Acts II and III. Typhon was... a real challenge. Had to kite him at the edge of the arena, just running back and forth. Could not risk a stacked health drain or meteor attack. But... Visennia survives. Onto the DLCs (tomorrow, need a break from the stress of hardcore after kiting Typhon for 15 mins aha )!

Update: Epic complete! A few tight scares but nothing too serious.

A bit nervous about Legendary, though. I’ve topped out gear-wise so now all the enemies will be catching up. Previously the combo of Life Drain and Marksmanship proccing the Nidbow spec was enough to shred groups before I’d take too much damage but I don’t think I can take that risk on Legendary - am going to have to go much, much slower this time.

What version of xmax is everyone running for TQAE and Ragnarok?

PS. I'm guessing bots was a huge issue...

I think it varies.  I just downloaded the one Argonil has done, but the x10 option on that only spawns x1 bosses so I'm thinking I need to go back to the old Xmax again.  There are so many versions now I guess we need to decide which ones are okay for the challenge.  Argonil's one actually has proper HC as a couple of options, but those only use either x3 or x5 mobs, not the x10.  Others have Loot Plus with them - well one of Argonil's does too iirc - so does that rule those ones out of the challenge since more monsters to kill means more loot anyway?

If it does rule it out, I'm going to need to start over then since I'm mostly done with Normal TQIT on Loot Plus XMAX FTW.

In defense of that, though, if you're browsing the TQAE Steam Workshop, it literally pops up as the first xmax option.

Hm, don't recall seeing that bit of thread.  I just made a note of placings in the one on the old forum before it shut down so I could move them over if needed which is what I did.  Maybe it was a slightly different challenge.
