Hey guys,
What do you think would be the best class to do soulvizier hardcore xmax when first starting out?
I've played a lot of soulvizier xmax in the old days, but I see some things have changed

Jacko&Zuzia - Perseus - L58 Conquerer AER+Atlantis (TWINKED) - Epirus Refugee Camp

https://imgur.com/XiiHEIJ

3xEpic Typhon was a pain in the ass as always. we did it the safe way - switched to a reflect build - Athena Shield + max Defiance = 25 minutes of typhons slowly killing themselves. at no point were we in any danger but the sheer amount of time it took to kill them... >:(

I dont know whats the deal with the screenshots as everyonce in a while Im geting just a black background  ???

btw, we got a small bottle which yelds 70% more exp gained! it last quite a long! what a cool addition to the game and what an aid for starting toons  O:-)

Playing it safe again...the door didnt even closed behind us  O0

It was a quick fight actually. 8 or 10 phalanx. with bbattle standard of course.

@ Sveznalica - i never played this mod, wanted a few times but never realy got to it

in xmax its generally good to pick up a class with good AoE for mob clears and something with good defences.I like Conquerer, Spellbreaker, Ternion Diviner and Earth toons.

I've chosen templar since I don't want to play conqueror again and I've never play templar. Supposedly it's pretty bulky which is important since I don't have any items to tweak my character :D

I encourage you to try the mod, it really gives a new depth to titan quest. Hero monsters are cool and hard, souls are a nice concept, some skills are reworked a bit. All in all it's a lot of fun

eh man, you found a trick !
Apart from BS, were the phalanx boosted by pet jewels ?

Let us know if that works also in legendary.

No pet jewelery. 2 x hades phalanx only. 3rd hades phalanx and ancesral warriors. Although it took a fe casts plus BS. but it was so safe and easy. I should go phalanx and warriors on all 3 hades. Although phalanx can be shift casted and warriors tend to stick to me so i have to approach more the target to actually sick ancestrals on it.

We did some equipment shakeup on legendary.

Got 80%CDR. with that amount of cooldown reduction this conquerer took on a whole new different dimension.

BS, Phalanx, Ancestrals and shild charge make the game so much easier. I really luv shield charge and now i can cast it every 2-3 seconds. PermaBS, perma ancestral worriors take some heat off our conq.

I did the same with my spellbreaker (warfare/spirit) and permaBS is really a gamechanging feature. Btw it's the only build i could achieve up to the end of legendary withouth dying.
So, take care of insane heroes monsters and all should be fine  ;)

Here is a new entry: Dyson a young soothsayer.

Tauceti - Dyson - L42 Soothsayer AERA (TWINKED) - Rhodes

If he can go up to legendary mode, the aim is to make an exotic build: a soothsayer-no pets, relying on late skills. In the meantime Dyson is currently leveling as a classic shepherd which explains its low kill count, helping the pets with plague.

Typhon
Spoiler for Hiden:

The quality of pictures is not good since i had to downgrade graphics and textures. I have regularly crashes that i didn't have 6 months ago.  :o

Young  :o ...clvl 42...thank u mate - Im currently 42 years old  O0

I dont like pets but one thing i have to admit - Phalanx is doing extraordinarly surprisingly well in legendary and it does kill enemies and it does make a short work of them...+ its a good distraction.

Ancestral warriors dont do a fraction of Phalanx dmg  ???

Back in the day, as far as I can remember, Legendary was not as difficult as it is in AE R+A.

Good I chose a conquerer as i starter after such a long break.

good luck with Dyson mate!

Winter break is here so we are leaving for 8 days on Tue - we will have a short break and we will plan another toon for the challenge maybe.

We started to do some farming.

We got this really nice amulet and swap gear. Depending on rare siituations we have swap gear for either bleed or vitality.

Unlucky with weapon though  :'(

Still using the lower dmg sword as we top AS with it at 222% and with the other it is 200% and we tested it in act 1 on dummies - the dumb way - on the faster one there is more bigger numbers then on the slower one although the slower one when equipped shows higher average dmg and higher DPS  ???

Subjectively we feel the faster one is better  :o

Going well Jacko and Zuzia - nice work!

Tauceti added your new challenger to the leaderboard.

Ororo - shame, but he'll be remembered in the Heroes' Graveyard.  Is your Templar still in the challenge or has that one been retired/lost?

Its been a while Medea...

Btw, whats the deal with the droprate in A+R  >:(

After 50 Legendary Boar runs and 50 Legendary Fafnir runs for a total of 250 purple orbs I got only...10 or 11 purple items, only 1 or 2 from Ragnarok  >:(

EDIT: frustration clouded my memory when writing it up...for some reason legendary xmax Fafnir ALWAYS spawns x2 so it was a total of 250 orbs.

Back in the day it was better I think...damn it...I read someplace about a mod that betters the droprate and the mod can be used with xmax and with R+A. I need to find it and implement asap  >:(

Too much stress going on generaly so I dont need it in game  >:(

Actually your drop rate seems really low. That's curious.

Here is a link of farming runs (1 run = 1 orb ) made by a diviner. Results were rather similar to other runs made by @botebote77
In particular Fafnir is worth it, the same with the giant king.
