Also, in answer to your question, I have seen a unique, Finger of Charon that gives a vitality damage bonus to pets.

Don't you find it weird that when gaming, your hands have no problem finding the right hotkeys..
I wish. It has happened to me more than once when playing a game with WSAD keys for movement, that I mistakenly set my left hand down on the wrong keys: EDSF.

More of a general question: do throwing items have things like mastery prefixes (Stormcaller's, Pyromancer's, etc) and also the petmancer ones (Beastcaller's, Ritualist's)?  Haven't seen any yet, but not played enough yet either.
I've seen one throwing weapon with +1 to all Warrior skills. It was called "Warrior" something.

It works with Marksmanship.

Medea, Thunder Strike is very powerful. Put points initially into Unleash for skill disruption, confusion and more damage. Just alternate it with other attacks or spells.
If you want to use Rune Weapon, then consider using a throwing weapon instead of a staff. You lose certain benefits the staff has: + to energy regen, attack range and certain modifiers that can only be found on a staff. But, you gain other benefits. Your attack will be significantly faster, you will have more protection (shield), and 2 equipment slots (weapon and shield) instead of only one (staff). The Energy Drain skill will compensate for the loss of + to energy regen.

I just learned another one today.
The Rune Weapon skill, used on the left mouse button does not work with a staff; it does not mention that in the skill description.

Here are a few more observations.
The portal at Mt. Olympus is now accessible making it possible to do Typhon runs whenever you want without needing to resort to the Defiler.

Thrown weapons have less range than bows, but are much faster. Thrown weapons are very powerful. There are unique thrown weapons with no level requirement and reasonably easy stat requirements that decimate monsters.

Starting out in the new areas with a brand new level 40 character is difficult for an untwinked toon.

If you rearrange your inventory using the button (as opposed to doing it manually) all of your uncombined relics and charms will now automatically combine.

Hey Defboy!!

By the way, do you know what Quique is up to? I haven't heard from him in quite awhile, and we used to be in regular communication.

Hi everyone! It's really nice to see a bunch of familiar names on the forum.
With the new expansion I have resumed playing the game.

Hi everyone! I'm glad to see that there is a TQ forum up and running -- especially since the new expansion is out.

I have played a bunch of hours on normal difficulty with 2 different toons using the new mastery. I really like the Runemaster; there is some nice stuff there. I think it makes hybrids more viable.
I only have gotten a little ways through the new maps though. So far, I don't like them all that much -- too repetitive. And the voice sound effects for the bandits are stupid in my opinion.
