Just been watching part of a recorded stream by someone called IronTusk which I found by googling. Doesn't look bad at all.
Will have to wait to play it though since my AE version of the game is on GOG and they don't have it yet.

I'm still looking forward to the deities mod.. i have stopped far too many times playing this game only to come back each time.. I'll play TQ:Ragnarok first but i still want to try deities after
edit: deities with the new act 5.. mmmm

yhea, i hope so, tried to play with new xpac , it was so messy, alot of new things are missing ( new resistance, vitality resistance, etc) :(

Hmm, if its only an UI issue then it is fixable - but i can bet that there will be other issues as well... I'll try merging latest LoC with CaravanXLR and tell you how it goes
I'm still looking forward to the deities mod..
Can be a long wait, the only thing i can promise is to continue working on it. I'm already thinking to add a 10th god - Poseidon. But this is not the place, I'll post on the thread when i have something more to show.

Hi everyone! I'm glad to see that there is a TQ forum up and running -- especially since the new expansion is out.
I have played a bunch of hours on normal difficulty with 2 different toons using the new mastery. I really like the Runemaster; there is some nice stuff there. I think it makes hybrids more viable.
I only have gotten a little ways through the new maps though. So far, I don't like them all that much -- too repetitive. And the voice sound effects for the bandits are stupid in my opinion.

Looks like I will be waiting until the end of the month to get this expansion. My girlfriend wants to get it for me as a gift so now I am playing the waiting game. Hopefully though that month is gonna give some time for things like TQ Vault to catch up along with the other mods.

Just posting a query here. Does anyone remember news/forum posts over on THQ that they were working on Ragnarok before they closed down? Someone mentioned on the Steam forum that they were, but I can't find any info and of course THQ is long gone.

Are you sure it's not a fake statement? I think Nordic are the first and original creators of Ragnarok.No memories of anyone mention it in titanquest.net.

Don't know nargil66. Someone swears on a thread in the TQ Steam forum that he saw a post on the THQ forum stating that they were working on it and Nordic just finished it off. I don't recall seeing anything on the old forum and I would expect it would have been mentioned there if it was. But I guess it just depends how close lipped about it THQ might have been. :-\

Doubtful as IL back then didn't even have time to finish patching IT properly. A rough concept maybe, actual work on it, don't think so.

Well, someone did post a link to Medierra on the GD forum back in 2011 saying this:
"We actually implemented WASD on a TQ2 prototype when I was at ILE and it was kind of cool, although a totally different game (we'd turned the camera into 3rd-person over the shoulder)."
So there was definitely work on a TQ2 being done before ILE closed. Whether THQ subsequently did more work on it and then when they went under Nordic took it and made it into Ragnarok I doubt we'll ever know for sure.

i remenber a topic on old foruns, a tale our a history involved the norse act, it looked pretty solid, but it was fan made
