The Yellows Only Hardcore Challenge

Yes Zarat will be twinked: artefacts and relics will come from the vault and yellow gear from merchants runs with a higher toon.

In particular i am using this trick: since white items don't have level requirements, i make merchant runs seeking 5 yellow armor pieces with -XX% conditions required (str,dex,int) and i buy a high level white weapon with the good stats. It's somewhat ... borderline. On the other hand, i will play with Xmax mod. For the 1st few levels it's really funny. Let me know Medea if this trick still fits with your rules.

I can't say...At least, up to lvl 25, that is when trap skills are filled up with Xp.
After that, if all is ok i will continue with Xmax.
But come back to normal mode if Xmax in yellow gear becomes really tedious.

At Spider queen, forgot to capture Polyphemus, if needed, I can go kill again..





Btw, now the chase distance of this boss is infinite, it seems, had to loop around a rock to kite her near Ambrossos market.

andyblast, no I'm not too worried if you miss screenshoting the occasional boss.  Your stats page is the more important one showing no deaths.

Interesting about the Spider Queen.  Iirc Polyphemus also had his leash extended in the AE version of the game.

Gorgons, Lvl 16, Still potion-free. For some reason, Limos in Parnassus caves were a major pain, dunno what changed...





Does Anyone know if yellows in massbosses can be reverted back to yellow somehow? at this time they show as whites (to help with MI farming) & its really tedious for this challenge to pick & choose from among actual whites.

the good thing about spells is damage can come from anywhere, after all %ele damage is so easy to get.. but for yellows only, that might not be the case.. but if all items are allowed.. well, my casters are killing machines.. with enough survivability and the ability to cheese
