I have a zone that refuses to be saved after rotation, even after build all paths and maps, always end up in the original facing position after Editor reload. The map in the overlay show the rotated region correctly, but as soon as go to editor mode it are facing to the original position.
I have no issue with any other regions i have tried, the region in question is Levels/World/Greece/Athens/Area02_Athens01.lvl *Seems to apply to every region
Edit: After removing 3 out of 4 regions, its now saving changes...Having too many of the same level bugs the editor? EDIT: Confirmed, adding 2 or more of the same region ID bugs the editor, changes made to the first region is transferred over to all other regions with the same name...is there a workaround for this?

Hey Buri, how is going your project?
Its going forward, with the original maps i have learned a lot, and have redone the entire map over and over again until i find "my theme". Currently features around 15 large maps coherent to eachother, still need to figure out the underground system, cant make them look good I also experience a lot of crashes recently, sadly

Hope all had a nice weekend. I had some progress, a whole 256x256 area have been built...its however not done with paint layers, but the overall its done... Taken from an straight angle (angle in game is different obviously), with entrance and exit Some wilderness Will try to add monsters and start looking at questing soon

Thanks, this might help me a lot...Its great to see the area in the editor directly. So you dont have to run in game

A "hard to find" secret area with future boss fight or something, now its a talking stone An early location for a quest will hint the location of this cave..but there will be some time before you will be close to this area..

Your style looks good, TBH. I would also suggest to do less than too much, because 1] heavy maps can be very laggy and nobody likes it, and 2] I don't thinks players care if you spent 10+ hours on a single area, let alone if they can run through it in a few minutes.
Thanks , its still changing, got some plans. I agree, i will tone down the detailing to a bit, and play more with paint layers ...but still, its 2019, i want to see what if Titan Quest would be released today would look like (if it ever would be more detail oriented), anyway, i guess you learn all these bits as you go, where you should spend your energy on or not....anyway, started to build a big palace place thinge, Knossos insipired but will start mix the styles so it fits the start.

I have fiddled around with the quests a bit, but really dont understand it yet, but i sure will try hard to figure it out... Showcase for today, its still heavy WIP as you know... i put in some scripted stuff(they are moving, so showing a picture of it, kinda useless but you get the point, the zombie levitates above the rock back and forth like a ritual) Unfinished mountain side overlook thing Trying out some texture blends and combos Edit: Is more less, or is it less is more? You decide, i liked the simplicity with first, but the depth in this

Buri are you working on small maps or your focus will be creating some big map in near future?
My wish is to build complete worlds so yes, you can say big maps

I scrapped the entire map, took what i learned with different bioms, camera angles, theme sets etc etc Learn by doing i suppose. So started a new today, this will be the start area, or something Updated area and a completely new idea on how the starting world will look like, I thinking more of an Forest/Undead land combination, when sometimes they dont exclude eachother...and not as dark as always swamps....maybe im overdoing it? haha...but this is more for me than for the internet

Great effort with that mountain cliff section, you could add some height fog there as well to give the player more of a 'being up high' feeling. Once you have spent enough time with the Editor and its tools what are your plans Buri? Curious to see what your future project(s) will be
Is there an possibility to open the original Titan Quest map so it can be modified?
Yes I believe there is but I've never done it so am not sure sorry
Thanks, it do look great in game, and great minds think alike, i added a fog layer just after the screenshot, it looked great , but decided that will be a showcase when the zone is "done" Well, no plans, just build and learn, i had some ideas..but that all comes down to if i can open/edit/copy the original gameworld So hopefully i can showcase something when i get the ropes of the Editor, a lot to learn

UPDATED::: Some progress for today Any input on these ? PS:Sorry for the blurry low res image, its directly from the editor Some more wilderness tile building Trying some mountain with some deep gorges and overpasses....highly annoying to build, no wonder Iron Lore used so many filler stones for both the ground, and weird clipping

Try placing your portals, exit the Editor (with saving of course), then try again.
An obvious fix Thanks
