One thing that bother me a little is that, with DX11 the skin seems to have some kind of reflex, they shine a little, I don't know if I express myself well to you. Besides that don't worry too much they are well done.

Also, take your time and when it's all ready please make options with clothes and nude for the female skin. I think that the male skin is already well done too.

DX11 - its fixed now. It's the bump texture, if its made 99% transparent, the gloss is gone. I assume it's not the best way, but it works.
About more skins - sure, thats the plan! AllSkins was a cool mod (my first "modding" was editing textures from it), but AE deserves a new one :)

Link to the leatest testing version 0.9:
https://mega.nz/#!YDIRFKqB!OXHP6i8705sJZv3tN3HFAIi3sj0H7jWhhSiBDQrzMqg

This version replaces all 5 starting dyes:
White - Full Loincloth (+Skirt)
Tan - Full Loincloth (Skirtless)
Lightblue - Nude (+Skirt)
Gray - Topless Loincloth (Skirtless)
Rose - Fully Nude

For people playing on DX11 - if the skins look overshadowed, disable ambient occlusion.

EDIT: Btw, talking about the male character - his mesh can use some tweaks too. Right now he is very far from the Greek/Roman ideal.
Example with a Roman Mars:
Spoiler for Hiden:
He isn't like today's depictions, is he? And thats the god of war himself...
Now, the male character in TQ - he can be a comic superhero (or a heavy category boxer), but I dont imagine a Greek hero to be like this. Will give it a try after the girl is ready (just don't expect too much).

Well nargil66 I just tested the new version and, unfortunately, there is still clipping on the hair. Some places of the hair appears white in the thumbnail where you see your character.

It's sad because otherwise the skin is so well done... The texture is amazing on all other aspects.

I'm no modder, but forgive if I offer a little sugestion, at least for the DX11 version leave the hair as in the original.

Hope you don't mind what I said, I know it's a hard work, I can't imagine how many hours you have to spend doing the meshes.

Besides this small inconvenient, the work you put on it is amazing.

Thank you for all.

I haven't found that problem's cause yet. it's like there is a separate shader in inventory/portrait, or a missing one. If I knew where it's located...

Oh nargil66, don't worry man, take your time. In the meantime I'm using the DX9 version of Titan Quest and is a blast!!!

Oh, I'm sorry, I've find other clipping problem in the feet. When you put a leg piece, it clips behind the feet.

It's easy to see. If you turn your female character on the main menu you will see.

Hope you can solve this problem.

Thank you and have a great day.

The leg attachment points are a real pain... i think i'll have to steal bones from the vanilla mesh to make them work. Will try it tonight.

Man, I became addicted to this mesh tweaking lol. Final shape of her face:

The texture is not changed, only the head shape. I made it more oval, to be closer to the Greek ideal of female beauty:

Spoiler for Hiden:

Ariadne Nude Mod v0.9c (test):

- Fixed eye distance on texture being too big
- Nose bridge made slightly wider (i can't make a straight greek nose, but thats the least i could do)
- Improved bump textures (she looks more "material" now, especially on DirectX11):
Spoiler for Hiden:

Left - old bump, Right - new bump
- Base texture is final
- Bump texture is final
- Mesh shape is final

Now I can address the remaining issues with attachments, clipping, etc.

Thanks bro! This is one of the most enjoyable mods i've ever started :D
Version 1.0 should be ready in a few days, with more features and customization options.

Started dealing with the clipping problems. And that damn attached skirt - it clips both with the armor and the body. I'm considering to remove it completely.
It can always be "faked" by painting a cloth over the body and then give it relief with bump. Example with older egyptian and loincloth skins:
Spoiler for Hiden:

Tell me if you will miss it (I personally won't). Still open for suggestions tho.

Hi nargil66.

To me the last one would be good. Of course with greek motives but, you are good in what you do. Don't worry too much you know. Whatever you'll do I'm sure it will be for the best.

Take care friend and good night.

 ;)

About the attachment issues - no matter what I tried, they were persisting. Finally I got really pissed and reworked the whole mesh from scratch  8)
This time it's done almost entirely in 3ds max, and MeshView is used only for small tweaks. The previous mesh took me  6-7 days, this one a few hours... and yet, armors attach right and the body shape is better! Preview:

New body and face:

With armor equipped:

Mesh:

Remains to fix weapon attachments and minimize rest of the armor clipping. I'll upload an updated version later today.

wow, this looks amazing! was thinking of doing some texture modding for my current project (Drop Sounds) to enhance the visuals and make items stand out better.

i would be grateful if you could give me some pointers...and where to start. ive started looking around the forums but it seems texturing is a bit of a pain.

awesome job man!
My mods and some other mods

https://mega.nz/#F!v5tGhawJ!BeMd_SSWpWZAeG4h3F2YFg

ATTENTION! .arz must be the same name as the name of the mod. i.e. custommaps --> DropSounds + Massbosses + Mis are epic + affixes are common

Database needs to have that long name (or change folder name)

Also on Steam

About texturing - for start you need unpacking/repacking tools (TEX format) and a good image editing program. I'm using Paint.net, because i'm too lazy to learn Photoshop and even Gimp  ::). It depends on your preferences. If you want to try Paint.net, it's very easy to use, just Google it.
I recommend you to get MeshView (so you can fast preview your changes on every step). Check the sticky on the top in the Tools section (Modding Tools A-Z), most of the TQ related programs are listed there. And here are some outside programs that you can use:
https://mega.nz/#F!4Xw31IJR!TJz97d8XP0xk_EdNrbQxaQ

Btw, I uploaded the newest mesh (fixed weapon attach points). Re-download from the link on my previous post.
EDIT: The left weapon attachment wasn't working. Use this link: https://mega.nz/#!YTRWVCTA!cpFTufU7h_GlPvDfa2_xUKcdBYz71QEDCLu-VEO0cSA

Hi nargil66, the last update you did is pretty good.

There is still a clipping issue in the head, when I put a equipment (helm or circlet, doesn't matter) the hair sticks out. And also the same problem happen in the thumbnail of your character in-game and near the far left - the little head that keeps staring at all directions. All these problems happen with the DX11 version. In the DX9 everything runs great !!!

Beside this one, everything is great.

Hope this info helps you to solve the problem.

Have a great sunday.

:)

This happens only in inventory and charater portrait, right? Is there clipping in the actual game world?
I think i wont be able to fix this, but I'll report it to Nordic. It's a vanilla DX11 problem.
