Ok, i found something curious - there is a ruined statue of Hephaestus that was meant to appear on Olympus scenery in the TQ resources... (maybe it does?) its called statuerubble01.msh. And it has a hammer:

When i saw it, i decided to rework my Hepahestus hammer to this one - to stay as close to the idea of the original devs as possible.
Then i checked TQ-DB for a similar hammer, and guess what - it exists as an unique weapon called Skull Crusher:

No way i will let it pass without reworking it... to lava hammer of course! :D
Btw, there is another more important thing coming soon - but i'll leave it a surprise for now.

Alright, time for the latest stuff  ^-^
I updated the "gods appearing on Olympus" mod with the 2 newer gods (Hephaestus and Poseidon):



This time the method of their appearance is changed completely. The previous way worked, BUT there were several problems with it. When Typhon died (old method) he spawned an invisible creature who casts a skill_defensivewall.tpl skill in a circle around itself, which were summoning the gods as pets. However, if you happen to kill Typhon too aside from the center, some of the gods could spawn outside of the arena and "fall off" of Olympus... haha. In that case they will never appear and you will have only half a circle.
Second problem was with mods that increase monster spawn like Xmax, where multiple Typhons will spawn multiple circles of gods on death... so i had to think of another way.
I spent multiple hours trying to modify a quest file with moderate success. The gods were appearing only when you kill Typhon for the first time and not after. I'm a noob at making quests so i guess there is a way, but i couldn't find it. Tried changing Triggers to Active/Ratchet, Conditions to resettable, Actions to Refire... nothing worked.
Then i got a more unconventional idea - what if i turn the Olympus temple from decoration into a monster (by changing template) and then kill it... haha. The point? It spawns another fake temple on "death" (from its bones), and to that second temple is attached an invisible creature (located at the exact center of the arena) which in turn has attached gods in cicrcle around it. But how do i make the temple to "die" without player being involved? Its simple - Typhon spawns another invisible creature that kills it with its aura. The creature spawned by Typhon (lets call it Templekiller lol) is of TeamMajor_Human alignment and has aura that hurts only Animal race (50m radius), while the "living temple" is TeamMajor_Hostile and race Animal, so the game makes them natural enemies by default. Typhon dies > spawns Templekiller > his aura kills the temple > temple spawns the second temple with attachments > and voila, the gods appear like magic :D But it's all smoke and mirrors lol. :D

I think to release the mod as standalone as well, expect it a bit leater :)

The old model was just not epic enough nor lore friendly enough. He wont be nude in the final version, though i had some requests on Nexus to make a naked male... so i might leave it as a variant.

Edit2 - after getting some sleep, i wasn't very satisfied with the body shape. This is Apollo after all - a synonym of male beauty! So i spent more time reshaping. I think this is a more decent variant - more masculine and natural looking:

I think to make some minor goddess reworks in the following days. Mostly the Olympian goddesses, to update the 12 Olympians mod. The base Ariadne model has improved and they deserve better bodies/textures. Probably i'll start with Aphrodite (the original concept, not the one from Hades game). + I had an idea of how to finally port the new Persephone properly (thanks to Sauruz). Will try and see how it goes.

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news are about the Illusions mod - i found a way to make them equip in helmet slot and to be enchantable with relics/charms and updradable at Dvergr blacksmith! This was the last obstacle on the way of implementing full-fledged Transmogrify system in Titan Quest :D Of course, it will work in a different way and with less options than Grim Dawn, but it will feature something that Grim Dawn never had - mounts! Here is a preview of full cosmetic armor set equipped via illusion:



The bad news are more personal... i forgot my Steam account password and email  :( Damn it. Just when i was planning to return there. Oh, well... I guess i'll stick with Nexus for now.

But before reseasing the new FG with the updates, i think to make a vanilla-like variant with long dress, to update my old Persephone NPC replacement mod. Stay tuned :)

Still working on Persephone... i did some research, and in myths she is described as "pale", "dark-eyed", "trim-ankled" (meaning she has graceful legs) and "deep-bossomed" (im pretty sure you know what that means :D). I slightly changed the skin tone, gave her brown eyes and a bit lighter hair (to look more natural). Also tweaked more her face shape (I'm getting addicted to this lol). I think to settle with this variant:

Persephone NPC Addon Mod v3



- Reworked original Persephone NPC model - she looks younger and prettier now, as is proper for the Goddess of Spring (greatly improved body/face since version 2)
- Tweaked color of gargoyles and chains to fit with her new golden cuffs
- Improved her vanilla walking animation
- Feel free to use in any mod

Installation:
- Place folder "Xpack" from the archive to your main game "Database" folder. No need to remove previous addon mods (there will be no conflicts with the new files).

You mean the cuffs on her wrists? I made them heavy on purpose on the NPC version, because in the game she is bound in chains by Hades. But you have a point, i can make an "unchained" variant for Fallen Gods, wearing lighter bracelets... thanks for the suggestion, I'll see what i can do.
