Custom Meshes, adding a shield to the game
« on: 11 December 2022, 01:01:02 »
Alright, I got the model, the textures etc.

How do I get my shield into the game? I discovered all the guides under \Steam\steamapps\common\Titan Quest Anniversary Edition\Toolset already
And already got a static mesh working (textures are strange tho...) but no items.
I need the attach points right? Do I do this in the viewer.exe that comes with the game?

Exporting it from blender doesn't work. Is something wrong with my model?
Can somebody do the job for me?

Otherwise I'll try using 3ds for it tomorrow.

I hope someone can help me!

I can give it a try. Just send me the model (as Obj, Blend or Max format) along with the textures. Also, are you familiar with Tokloo's TQ plugin for 3DS max? Personally i prefer it than using the official one.

Here is the shield you sent me (see attachment below):

To test it fast, unpack Xpack folder in your main game Database folder and ingame type code: 437626
(just be careful of not having 2 duplicate Xpack folders)

Hey, I just read your post! Immediately integrated it into my mod - it looks great! Now I gotta equip all the romans with their new shield.
The Grip isn't positioned quite right but nevermind.
Thank you very much!

Would you mind turning some more models into meshes for me?

It depends of how many meshes and what kind are they. I have plenty of projects to work on, ATM i'm translating Soulvizier, so my time is limited.
