Returning to the forum after years of absence
« on: 17 October 2022, 02:46:18 »
Hi,
I haven't been to this forum in years, but I am starting up TQ once again. My old forum name was Cleglaw, but I don't remember the password and don't have access to the email address I used to use. If there is any other way I can get into my old account...

Anyway, hi guys!
2 questions
1. Is Atlantis worth getting?
Has anybody heard from Quique?

Hey Cleglaw, I see your old account last activity was today, about 1 hours ago. Is that you?

Yes, it is me. I found a way to access my former email. Thank you.

Welcome back Cleglaw.

I think Atlantis is a nice optional side story and if you have it you get to increase the mastery bars up to 40 and have some new skills to play with.

No, sadly no sign of Quique since the old forum closed down.

Welcome back.

Just weighing in on Atlantis - definitely worth getting. The story-line is so-so, but it adds new tier-40 skills to all the masteries, a new suffix called ‘Tinkerer’ which allows you to put two relics on the item, new relics and charms (some of which are v useful), new Epic and Legendary gear and some cool new MIs.

Even if you’re not bothered by the storyline, the new skills transform some of the masteries (Spirit being one of the biggest winners), Tinkerer gear is amazing, and you get access to the only dedicated mage shop in the expansion right from the opening, so you can get straight to shop farming for a good prefix ring of your choice (I’ve snagged a couple of Occult Rings of the Tinkerer).

It also gives you a mini-casino where you can roll these orb things which contain levelled loot. Some of the new Legendaries in Atlantis are awesome but have ludicrously low drop rates; if you can save-scum before opening a bunch of orbs it’s a lot easier to get them that way than by actual farming.

Anyways, welcome back and enjoy :D

Thanks for the recommendations on Atlantis. I have purchased it.

Welcome back mate.
Been a while. :)

Also yes you should play the expansions, and you may find that loot orb vendor familiar.
